I have the classic I love it. I’m in the heavier side and I do wish the straps would be made longer. more people would buy the bag. But it’s understandable (it was made for back support and what not) I use mine as a everyday bag I’ve got kids and dogs and I’m up and down all day . It holds up well. .... Great video! Love how real you are 😍 just subscribe!! You had me laughing lol!!
This was both helpful and hilarious! I was gifted the same but the larger version. Unfortunately I have the same problem with the straps being too short that it sits so high up in backpack mode.

Strap length is the exact reason I returned the Kanken Mini backpack as well. Like I know I'm not a slim woman... but I feel that for the bag to sit where I would like it, I would have to be a really thin, small, Asian woman. If they made the Kanken Sling just a bit bigger, then that would be perfect. I love my Sling, but I can't fit a whole lot in there.. I'm still trying to figure out a way to make everything fit, and its been almost a year xD. Thought this Tote might be the one to try... but not a fan of those straps either, even the length of the tote strap parts its too short for my liking.
I am soo happy I found your video! I've been deciding between the totepack, totepack mini, & the totepack #1 small as a treat for myself for my birthday too. I'm definitely not getting the mini now. I'm the same way with sizing & the pack sitting that far up would drive me crazy. I know it's supposed to be for back support, but I would like it to sit a little lower. Thanks for this review and for pointing out the strap issue. There seem to be Kånken totepack no1 too, guess that equals in size for the classic Kånken backbag🤔 But for a adult my size I'm sure the I'd have the same problem and need to actually go in some store to see before buying. Luckily you still have time to treat yourself a bit more before your birthday😉
Good idea! That’s the issue with online purchases and I was sooo happy until I put it on 😭 and I didn’t want anyone else to make the same mistake and saw no videos addressing this issue. I’m treating myself to makeup for my birthday instead 😂 always the safer option haha xx
Can you adjust the straps to make it sit lower on your back? Love the vid. I have the Totepack 1 in by Fjallraven and can adjust the straps so mine sit lower since I am about 5' 9. I absolutely love it! I've been contemplating purchasing this one but haven't decided yet. Hope you will begin to love it over time and you did get a deal since they are a bit expensive.
Hey! I’ve returned it now :( it was a bargain but the straps where too much of an issue and in the video I stretched them the furthest they’d go and it didn’t help much tbh. I’d deffo recommend going into store if you can 💕
Sameena Arr ~ There are two sizes...the totepack mini and the 13 inch totepack. I ended up purchasing the 13in laptop size in the same color as the one that you chose and I’m excited to use it. I have to admit that my older totepack also sits high on the back. I’m guessing this might be a trademark with this style of tote 🤷🏻♀️. I’m a one-shoulder-strap-backpack-wearing kinda gal so it will sit lower on my back. My concern would be not having even wear on the handles if I do this (okay, starting to ramble 🤦🏻♀️). Anyway, I’ll be carrying this baby for the rest of the week to break it in once the Scotchguard dries. 🙄🤪 Hope you get the perfect Kanken for yourself someday. 🤞🏼🙃
But to be fair, it’s proven that wearing the backpack that high is the correct way of wearing it. That’s why people in Scandinavian countries wears backpacks that high usually
