Hi Lauren . I enjoy all your videos but this one was exceptional. I feel it’s because your genuine sharing as a mom with kids and the curve balls that suddenly emerge is what so many moms deal with daily . It can be so overwhelming and such a struggle working full time and striving to be the best mom . If you can get some support with HW ( especially math ) and the house then do it . A responsible high school junior or senior that would like to earn extra income would work . Especially if they’re on the UC / Cal State track and looking at engineering as a future . If your stretched to thin Lauren your wellness is at stake . I’m praying for you and truly enjoyed this video and the sounds of your kids in the background along with the chickens. 🐓 Keep up the great race of life as a great mama . Proud of you girl .🙏♥️💪🏽🏠

You amaze me with your organizing skills and energy.. At 74, I miss the strength of my youth. Trying to eat healthier but I like sweets. That tomato looks so luscious!😃 Did you know that you could save the seeds and plant them and grow that tomato plant? My husband did it with tomatoes from Olive Garden and it worked, it's awesome!🥰💗🙏
Lauren, we always hired an early education major to help with our kids homework. It was extra money for them and they had the patience I couldn't find!
It's easier when it's growing season. You buy the tomato, cut it up in pieces, put them in the ground, cover them up, watch them grow!🥰 I learn much from your videos!💗🙏

I would love to share that! I did a video about it a few years back. The best advise I can give you is try to get past the first 6 months, because you will want to quit every day. Even with this new job, I did. I love it but I felt like I was letting the kids down and I was struggling to get my routine to be productive. Now its all smooth sailing. Happy to share more with you!
He is a better parent than I am, honestly. This season of my life is very demanding and he has been the primary parent... Pick up and drop off, homework. I love to make dinner and do night routine. We get lunch every week and have time to catch up and be romantic and share our dreams for the future or when the kids go to sleep we sit by the fire and share a glass of wine or tea and talk. It's important to maintain that in a marriage. We lost that once with kids, work and life. At the end of this life, we will be in the rocking chairs together reflecting on the legacy we left our kids, grandkids and great grandkids. So we prioritize our love and friendship now. Changed everything.

I feel for you with the homework. My sons are now 20 and 21. But even in their young age, the homework was crazy. I was a single mom working full time and would almost cry over their homework. Please hire some help. You deserve it. P.S. also a No Cal girl from Los Gatos.

HAPPY THURSDAY Lauren, family, and fur babies. HOPE The baby feels better very soon. I do remember those days getting ready for work and one of the boys or both would say I do not feel good. Changes "MOMS" DAY around completely. But, we handled it, get the babies better, and do what we must. Do you ever get heartburn from eating spicy foods? Although, that salad looks delish. Thanks for sharing your daily life with us. I totally hear you on homework. Our kids are all raised now but when we lived in So. Cal, the homework was a minimum of 3 hours a night. Then we moved to NM where there was basically no homework at all - trust me the homework made a difference in education levels. I always joke “heaven help our kids if they decide to leave NM”.
Yes it's hard 😮☹for me too work from home. I squirrel away sometimes too (it's okay). Yes, the homework (my nephews) had was just horrible, and they at one time took cursive writing out OMG! out!!!! Anywho, yessss get someone to help, I would with having my Dad he needs a PA and not me LOL LOL!!! Block scheduling writing it down I think I'm going to do more of ummmm... Big Red (old faithful)... dinner looks yummy!!!!!!!!!!!!😋
Lauren, homework gets really bad when you're kids become adults and go to college and have five hours of homework to each class ! All my son's want to get married but they sadly don't 😢even have time to even date!

Min 6:45- that's very smart to admit you can separate work-life and personal. Your boss and co-workers could be watching this and realize you are taking advantage of being allowed to work from home.
lol thank you - my team is welcome to work from home as well. We all have a very work hard / play hard mentality. It's an epic group!!! Sometimes we find it's easier because there is less distraction but team building is important. If they are watching... get back to work!

That has to be the saddest lunch I have seen so far. But, it does make me understand how she looks so thin and beautiful. But making 4 different dinners for one night?! I guess you could make an exception for the sick child but all the rest could have eaten the 'normal' dinner for that night, right. She's too sweet sometimes😂😂 My mom would not have done different dinners for one night.
