A layer of watercolor or marker can help build the color quicker. But I love the color of just the color pencil itself. They can be really rough on the hands but they look so good.
Yes! Soooo rough on the hands sometimes🥲 but after hearing everyone's recs I'm definitley going to look into getting some copic markers to help get that deeper color. Thanksss 🌟

This is so inspiring! I got the caran d'ache blender with my luminance pencils and it just smoothes the layer right out, it might be exactly what you are looking for!

Thank you so much! I actually use my phone camera (iphone 15) and my canvas overhead lamp for most of my shots! I also have random objects like post-it note holders and tiny planters that my phone fits in to capture those close up angles.Thank you so much!
