I so appreciate this. Just emptied the hose and waiting to find out if it worked! My MIL was worried she’d have to replace the washer/dryer but I highly suspect this was the problem. Took 10 minutes from first to last screw.
THANK YOU! I blew a large plug that was completely blocking the hose out with compressed air. Saved me a lot of time, and I probably would have bought parts I didn't need chasing a problem I didn't have.
Thank you! I'm quite proud that I fixed it WITH YOUR GREAT HELP and calm, soothing voice. Two workarounds: I couldn't get the wire to do much, so I sprayed Krud Kutter up the hose, positioned it upright for 10 minutes or so, then flushed it out by spraying water up into the hose with a manual pump sprayer. Bits and flecks of crud came out. Second, while the hose was unattached - with a tub to catch the water, I poured lots of water down the softener and bleach dispensers. I poured until the water flushed clean. Everything is back in place, and it seems to be working well. Thanks again! Linda
Thank you. I will try this tomorrow. I also have a problem with excessive lint left on my clothes so i think the drain tube could be causing both. BTW, you have a very soothing voice which convinces me this is no big deal and i can do it
We have this exact same model for last 12+ years, it works but doesn’t seem to drain out 100% of water at the end of washing cycle. If I turn around washer drum, I can hear considerable amount of water moving around at the bottom although nothing is visible in the drum itself. I tried to drain some of it by taking the outlet pipe out but it still doesn’t remove all of the water. Is there a filter in this washer, which I can clean periodically?

I have the exact same washer/dryer and the same issue but cleaning the hose didn't help. Looks like I need a new hose. Any videos out there showing how I can replace the hose?
