Doctor. Placed zirconia crown for molar teeth 1 month ago. Unlike the my other natural teeth the grooves of the zlcrown is so falt and small so, My dentist removed like atleast 2mm of my opposite teeth cusp without informing me. Now chew is hard to me on the crown side since both crown and opposite now have too little grooves then my natural teeth. Is it ok or need futher notice and correction? And instead of remaking the crown, reduce that much teeth structure to get rid of highpoints is normal or not ok?.
That wasn't normal. Actually he should have checked your bite before cementing it some time dentists are just in a hurry and when they know that they have made a mistake instead of correcting it they do further damage.
