It’s natural to see our parents as our first superheroes, the ones who are supposed to protect, nurture, and love us unconditionally. It feels like it’s their duty, their role in our lives. But sometimes, some people just aren’t capable of giving that love, no matter how much we hope or how hard we try to reach them. It’s important to understand that your worth, your light, is not dependent on anyone else’s ability to recognize it-even your mother’s. I can only imagine the heartbreak of accepting that the love you long for might never come in the way you expect it. But please remember, love does come. It comes from within you, from the people who surround you today, and most of all, from God. You’ve grown into a beacon of light, radiating love to others, despite the pain. That strength is incredible. It’s okay to acknowledge the hurt, and it’s okay to guard your peace .

@nima5398 Ouch ! When you talk about your mother, pain comes in full sight. My mother is a covert narcissist, but it took me DECADES to find out. Now, she's in hospital, and i just cannot talk to her, because 1) I am sick and tired of that show 2) I would "break her heart" when i tell her how i think and feel now about her. I wait and pray, while, i guess, she hides in "victim-mode"... It's all so painful. She ATE us as children, not being always "evil", but cheating, play role of "good, caring mother". I NEVER felt her. Now i know why: There is no one home... She diminished my dad, a few years ago, she phoned me and told me, that she is an evil person. She also was fishing for no, no, and complinents, and i did...i just can't SERVE that shite anymore. I would say now: you're right, and i have NEVER known you. Still i feel like a monster-son sometimes, rejecting all of her games, reproaches, crocodile tears... finally, i think that ALL her bad talking about others, was talking about herself. Pray, all i can do actually.
