Adult Son and I went to Costco in Adelaide yesterday. It's roughly 2 hours from us, so we only go every 2-3 months. Between us we spent $700, and that included the tall cat tower for $119 (son bought that for his cat). I walk around with several pages on my phone open - calculator, shopping list plus Coles and Woolies (to compare unit price). We're a family of 3 adults, so $500 in food will last quite a long time. They have a much better variety and prices, when compared to our country town, for gluten, dairy and peanut free foods.
i was going to take my adult son to but he had a job interview so i took my youngest son. I really didnt need to do any shopping but i had 2 days off work so i had to go and check it out. 😊
Mum and I buy the Costco mince!! We split it between us!! $20 each!! Works out well!! P.S...get your son too put $10 worth of pocket money too the Costco membership!! LOL!! Fair's fair!! LOL!!
