Boil washing definitely holds the curl better, synthetic hair especially (and even real hair sometimes) needs heat to hold curl for more than a day or so! Her curls came out gorgeous tho!!! I usually use perm rods and use perm paper on the ends to keep them behaving. But I like the softness and size of the pipe cleaner curls! She looks so so so pretty!!!!

Ok, I'm only about 15 minutes in but I have to comment on how cool it is that you're sewing on the sculpted ears. It never would have occurred to me to do that but it's a brilliant idea since using glue alone can still result in bits popping off if you manipulate the head too much. I'll definitely be using this technique in the future.
