The “Be our Guest” was probably used as wedding decor. I’ve seen almost that exact thing on Pinterest. But I am obsessed with Beauty and the Beast so when I saw it I was all happy lol 😆
My thoughts too. I just wish they used an acrylic paint pen instead of etching cream because I wanted to use it as a fantasy vanity mirror 🤣 but my friend loves it & will make good use of it at her wedding. She’s also borrowing an antique candelabra to put next to it for extra fairy tale vibes haha(Lumiere!!). After the wedding I’ll figure out what I want to do 🤪
I like the way you decorate your house. I think you do a good job and just keep up the work and it looks really cool and I like the way you did the mushrooms so you're you're on the you're on the path to the right way I think so. I'm thinking about taking some of your ideas and adding a little bit to my place
I really enjoy your DYI projects. I hope to see more of them! Binge watching your videos again while doing a massive pile of mending of vintage garments for our costume shop!
@@DressMeUpScotty I was binge watching a bunch of thrifting and upcycling videos (kathleenillustrated and beepworld) and kept telling my boyfriend about them so he challenged me to pick three pieces to upcycle and he would pay for them. I don't like denim skirts that much but I made one from a pair of super skinny jeans. I'm not sure yet whether I'll keep it or donate it back. Guess I'm saying it was just an experiment/practice.
It can be expensive but if you ever want to, you’d be able to take the mirror to a glazier and get a new mirror cut. Depending what thickness of glass you want, and if you want just plain mirror with no bevelling it would be at most 100, but more likely 70 or so.
Yeah I did let a quote from a local glass cutter and it was a LOT lol. But I’ll revisit the idea in the future when I can afford it. I definitely want to utilize the frame since Ung Drill mirrors at IKEA were discontinued last time I checked. Now I regret getting rid of the one I used to have that was the smaller one 🥲
I love that painting in the gold frame. Is there a signature on it? I love your mushrooms! If you want add white paper to fix pictures that had white backgrounds. You had some great frame game today.
I don’t see a signature so I imagine it’s home made perhaps. I’m going to offer it to a few friends to see if I can find it a good home. It’s very nice!
I was actually considering that! I have a round mirror I can use I have from an abandoned fit project. I’ll see if I can try that after my friends wedding this Saturday.
