I do the same with regular full clear tips and a base coat. They last just as long, and save me over a hundred dollars compared to the expensive system.

did anyone else catch that she filed down 1/3 down of the nail tip, which youd usually do when youre popping it right on, but instead she fills the whole tip, but then youre like wait then why only 1/3 of the nail? and then when she went to adhere it to the nail, she didnt buff 1/3rd down the gel that had been laid, but she did do it when she wasnt adhering it to the nail? i laughed so hard no hate only love also, i loved "i cleaned the cuticle.wasnt a lot to clean" *a lot comes out* again no hate just made me laugh moments!

createinspain I’ve soaked off before and I debulked product then used the cotton and aluminium foil wrap method for the nails. They soaked off in 7 mins 😁

these are so pretty it makes me wonder why I spend so much time sculpting nails. Do you prefer sculpting or this way of doing nails -how do they look when they start growing out. What are the difference between doing them this way and sculpting?

These are so pretty! 😍 I have never heard of using acetone to cleanse the nail before top coat, does it work with all tips or just this brand? I will have to give it a try! I always though acetone would melt the tip too much into a gooey mess 🤔

Only if you leave it on there. A quick wipe with a lint free pad will actually help ur tips if you wipe them after gluing them on, it slightly melts them so it helps blend out the line of contact.

@@TheDevilDarling yes! I picked that up from naio nails RU-vid Kirsty Meakin. Whenever she applies her tips she wipes them with acetone to melt and help them blend!

oh ok, so the gels must bond together. I believe if you cover hard tips with gel, they bond too as they are all acrylic. So putting gel UNDER hard plastic may be the same? I have nobody to ask these questions to because I'm new to this.
