🖤I LOVE Alocasias so much! 💜It was your A.cuprea from years ago that filled me with envy and inspiration to collect them 💙They can be really finicky, but every new leaf is worth it! 💚Ugh. they're all so beautiful. It's hard to choose favorites. (A.azlanii🤭)
Your Alocasia’s are wonderful. I had a dragon tail did pretty good ,grew one even from a corm and was really excited grew two new leaves ,then had the nerve to say ,not happening. Both plants said good luck next time. Had them almost a year. But oh well ,I’ll admire yours because they are really beautiful. Love all your ones you are growing. They’re loving your care. Here too have to bring in the plants as frost in the next couple days. Now where to put them🤔🫣. Balu is adorable. 🐕. Love🪴🎃 your content. Just imagine your first holiday’s as a married couple. You kids keep the love. 💕 prayers for all. 😊
Oh gosh, that's the toughest part about them! But fingers crossed we will manage 💚 And you are so right, it's going to be special 😊 thank you so much for this sweet comment Marie 💌💕
The dragon scale is stunning. They all are but that one especially. My favorite alocasia that I own is a tie between my pink dragon and black velvet. The pink dragon is blooming and i want to cross it with the black velvet but i don't know how but I'm gonna try anyway. 💚
Beautiful collection! ❤ I don’t have a lot of experience with Alocasias, but I do have a variegated Frydek, and so far, it’s doing well with me. I do like your dragon scale as well. Very pretty. 🪴
@@fireflyintheroom Room conditions. It was quite small when I first got it, so I had it in a closed container, but once it started growing for me, I took it out.
If dogs could talk! I think Alocasias like to go deeper with their roots to balance out the long stalks on top, and because they have corms underground, and the roots only start from the corms. So I think they don't like shallow pots. So maybe don't go cheap on the pon if you decide to use it. When the roots concentrate at the bottom of the pot you will know if I'm talking shizzle or not!
Oh gosh Svetlana your Alocasia plants are so pretty and I really love the leaves on Alocasia's alot of those are on my wish list and hope to be able to get alot of them when I have a good area to place them. Thanks so much again for thise great video, and all of those plants on your shelves look so beautiful and seeing these Alocasia's getting bigger and more leaves will be so much fun. Have a great rest of your weekend, sending love and hugs, bye!! 🥰😘💕💜💜💜💜
I love Alocasia too! I have 7 kinds. Most on the struggle bus but they are so beautiful that i keep trying. I have managed to sprout 4 different kinds of corms so fingers crossed that my collection will grow 🪴
I have always loved Alocasia but I can’t seem to figure them out! I certainly have killed me share of them and completely gave up on Jacklyn. I love my Frydek and my regular green girls because so many variegated ones are too expensive to risk me killing them 🤦🏻♀️. Your collection is beautiful 😍😍😍
