when you said “maybe I need to add water to it” I gasped 😭😂 even if you have a bit of water on the spoon, it will make the chocolate unusable, possibly what made it chunky (sadly learnt it through my own mistakes). loving vlogmas so far 🥰
Your chocolate siezed. Heat water and put a bowl over the pan (don't let the water touch the bowl) and melt slowly. Or use the microwave. Heat in 10 second intervals and stir
Hii, Alexandra ! Love you vlogs ! Few tips with chocolate don’t add water or milk, and also melt the chocolate on a bath mary (use a pot with boiling water and on top lay a glass or stainless steel bowl and there you put the chocolate so it doesn’t burn the way it did the second time. Keep the recipes coming and a second try 🥰☕️
Also if the water bath doesn’t work for you you can melt the chocolate slowly in the microwave for 30 seconds at a time and stirring between each interval. I usually end up burning myself when I try the double boiler method so I prefer the microwave
I’m loving your vlogs! I just finished The Starless Sea today. It was also my most anticipated book of the year, and I’m glad to say the writing is just as lush and lovely as The Night Circus. Video number 160. I always love watching your videos! I miss them, in fact. But, I really wanted to read my books for a while before coming back to RU-vid videos this way (haven't read much, though). I still watch newer videos when they get posted, but I thought it would be good to focus on my reading for a while because I read nothing while I watched Jadee's videos and I don't know how long it took me to get through them all!! LOL I bought The Toy Makers with the intention of reading it, but once I realized there weren't that many chapters, which meant that the chapters were super long, I lost interest in this book. I don't know if I will ever read it at this point. I also bought a Grimms fairytales book and gave up on it because the stories were boring but I wanna try to keep going in order of appearance anyway. One day I will get to the rest, but not this year. See you tomorrow!

I don't remember if I've asked you this already of it you've read it before but the Candymakers is literally a book about kids who live and do a competition at a candy factory and its Middle Grade and literally has you all over it!!
I don't think I've seen you mention it before but I massively recommend the Keeper of the Lost Cities series by Shannon Messenger. It's an amazing middle grade series that I recommend to anyone who will listen 🤣

Hi Lexi I was wondering if you would ever consider doing a video about your major in Library Science and what the overall classes and degree involve to people who are thinking to pursue it? I just got my Bachelors in Psychology recently and think I may have made a mistake going in that direction.
