Thank you for reviewing this! I like the new one’s updated color palette and added star elements, but quality wise, the vintage wins. The elements in the new one look a bit flatter - even the bathroom tiles - and the paint job isn’t as crisp.

Thank you for this nice review! Also, love the nails 😍 I really love this keepsake, I ordered mine today from Amazon ☺ You might be able to remove the white paint spots on the floor with a cotton swab dipped in pure alcohol (ethanol). I removed a similar paint spot from another keepsake and it worked. Just make sure that the floor is not already painted, otherwise you risk removing that paint job as well 😉

I ordered mine but it hasn't arrived yet. ... I just ordered it yesterday.🥰 These remakes are nowhere near as good quality as the originals, but they are still cute, and I plan to get as many as I can. Thank you for showing off the differences. Funny thing is I actually have all of the dolls from the original, but I don't have the actual compact. I'll eventually get it I'm sure.

I’ve just come across your videos and love you, your collections and commentary so much! I’ve decided to get my daughter vintage Polly pockets as the new ones just don’t have the painted details and don’t seem as good quality.

"we spill some ranch dressing" 😅 that was funny. I don't know how much hassle is to return the set. I would kept keep it because another one could be worse. I recommend just to paint and try to match the color of the stains and floor. The Polly with lila dress on the new one reminds me of Morty from Rick and Morty. I still like the vintage better 😓

@@Kerchie I'm pretty sure you can get it off with acetone. I had a doll come in with a paint smear on her face coming from her lips and I carefully wiped it off with acetone and it's as if it was never there.

I still don't like the color that is too bright and that "polly" letter on the window which they may have tried to make it more modern? It doesn't look modern at all changes they make always make the product look cheaper than the older series.
