I started doing traditional art when I was 5 in 2008 and throughout the years I tried my best to continue doing art even if it wasn’t the best. I’ve always loved to draw and because at the time my parents couldn’t financially gift me a tablet I never got into digital art until 2021 but because I already knew how to draw it took me awhile to get used to digital programs and my dream job is to become an animator so I’m currently in college at San Francisco to pursue said dream :) now I’m 19 in 2022.

I started doing digital art in 2017 when I was 11, after many years of watching artists like Lavendertowne draw. I remember walking into a electronics store with my dad to get a drawing tablet looking at the prices and walking back out LMAO. My first drawing tablet was a ugee table(much more affordable for my father). I loved it so much I wish I was able to crank out as much digital artwork now as I did then.

I actually had to go back to look at my gallery. I started digital art in late 2017. I kinda always doodled as a kid and that never stopped tbh. Then i discovered digital art through those masterpieces made on mspaint and BAM it started. This tablet would be a game changer. I currently use a tablet i got 3 years ago and a dollar store wire. This tablet would stop the lag and delay that came with age from my first.

I started drawing a long time ago when I was in elementary school. I remember that the reason I wanted to draw in the first place was because I wanted to draw my favorite characters from animes and cartoons I watched. It started with me tracing drawings. I didn't have access to the internet that time but I liked buying things related to my favourite animes and cartoons (such as stickers, sheets), so these were my resources. Eventually, I wanted to draw something based on my own mind; my own idea. So I stopped tracing someone's drawings and then created my own ones. That's how I began my art journey.

I started doing digital art on my phone about a year ago,but have been drawing tradionally since I was 12.Drawing in any way means the world to me since it helped me with my anxiety,and overall comforts me.Having a drawing tablet would help me so much and would make animating easier since my dream is to be an animator.I actually started watching actively cartoons(Adventure time,Gumball etc.)also when I was 12 and that inspired me so much that now I want to make my own series!Anyway,that's about it,sorry if this was too long :]

I actually started doing digital art since like 2010 , on and off haha that is because i never had the right tools. I used to do very simple drawings on photoshop cs3 with just a mouse. Until 2022 , i finally got a tablet. Its not meant for digital art. Infact, it supposedly doesnt support pens but i found a way. I also bought a pen tab but its so tiny haha but it does the job so im really happy about that. Anyway, i started watching you a few weeks ago. I couldnt really interact since whenever i watch you, im on the tv. But, i just want to say, your art inspires me so much! Im glad i found u here. I started doing art 4-5 years ago, I became interested in it because i was seeing my friends doing art and that inspired me to also try and draw though i only use my android, one thing i wanted to do is commission because i want to help my family financially because of a reason, im just a student and a minor so commission is the only step i can take to help them financially but i don't have the skills to start a commission, i dont draw better and i cant draw with reference, with this tablet i can practice and practice until i achieve a proper artstyle and when i can finally do commission, that's all i guess, stay safe!

At the time, I got discouraged because the only device I was using was my phone and was like "I crave a larger surfaceeee" AHAHAHA but I'm so grateful that I was able to get into digital art through that. I started doing digital art on my moms old phone ( I used and animation app called flipaclip) and I stopped bc my sister changed the password and she forgot it,,.... anyways i started drawing at the age of 8, I didnt have a sketchbook that time and just practice drawing. And now I have sketchbooks, watercolor pencils and some different pencils, I drew lots of stuff everyday and I improve a lot, I have experienced drawing on my pc with a mouse and it felt difficult so I thought of using a Drawing tablet and saw many good ones but they are expensive (some, btw im on a budget). I use lots of references from pinterest and I just discovered your channel a few months ago and I really loved your style :)... Since i have no chance of winning I am looking forward to at least use one. I am pretty young tho but I think my drawing are just average and I dream of being an graphic designer when I grow older. AND STUFF YOU DONT NEED TO KNOW: Im pretty broke bc my family is still renting a house for like 5-3 years now and I wanted to go to camp and it cost at least the price of a pen tablet, so were saving and my mom was able to pay for it. It is nice here in nz I mostly got my art stuff from my relatives back in my home country bc it is quite expensive here tho in NZ. Lol I wrote sum paragraphs (?) Hi. I'm into digital painting since I can remember. I used to admire lots of artists that paint digitaly +- 3 years ago. I used to dream to start drawing and animating. Then I fall into toxic friendship. My "friend" made me think I will never be able to draw that good. After 1.5 year I realised she's toxic, but I couldn't end it, because we were classmates. At the end of school year I decided enough is enough. I started learning how to draw. Now I think I could start with digital painting. But my parents won't let me buy a graphic tablet even as christmas gift. They think I will use it for few days and forget about it. I'm the older sis of a 11 year old girl she's very interested in digital art and webtoon, She's someone who likes to write stories, She has a lot of stories that she has written over the years in Google docs, Every single one of those stories amaze me, Sometimes I wonder how can she write such beautiful stories with deep meaning even though she hasn't even explored the world yet , Our parents can't buy her the necessary equipment she needs to fulfill her dream(financial issues), and I can't either because I'm to young to work I'm 13, Even though she doesn't have the equipments she still draws with her fingerps on her phone, Even though she gets frustrated because it's hard drawing with fingers on a small screen, I can't even count the amount of time I've seen her throw a Trantum because of that issue , Lately she's been feeling a little bit depressed because one of her friends got a graphics tablet for her birthday from her parents, She came to me crying asking why our parents couldn't do the same and also buy her one, i had to explain to her that money is not easy to make, Ever since then she has stopped talking about digital art she stopped writing stories or even drawing on her phone anymore and, she has become a little more quieter then usual, I tried begging my parents to buy her one but that request was immediately rejected, She's a sweet girl and it hurts me to see her like this especially since she's my sister, I've always tried to be the best older sister for my siblings, I feel a bit powerless seing I can't help my lil dumpling achieve her dreams. she started traditional drawing at 7 and started drawing on her phone at 9

I'm not sure if there's an age limit because xp pen didn't mention one and they're the ones actually sending the tablet, but I'll check and update you if it's an issue. Also don't feel bad, I'ts OK to want to update you're equipment once in a while. So if you have a chance to get something better I think it's OK to go for it.

I started doing digital art during an Inktober years ago. I challeneged myself to draw digitally everyday for 31 days and the difference from the first day to the last was huge 😅. I had to draw the sketch in my sketchbook in the beginning, scan it and then trace it digitally but half way through I could trace straight on the computer. It was an amazing feeling. I can't remember what year it was but most likely it was in 2016-2018 (my brain refuses to think of the pandemoc years 😅)

Honestly, for digital art, I started to learn it when the pandemic came and just spent more time to randomly draw a lot of things I saw. It's not easy, but I found that it's really nice to be able to finish it. Not entering the contest this late (haha) but I began digital art in 1998 where i would draw and ink on paper and color in photoshop with a mouse. Slate tablets were very expensive and inaccessible back then. Anyway, I actually just got that Artist 10 tablet a few months ago. I left the PC art scene for a few years after buying four laptops and a cintiq companion which all turned out to be mistake purchases I was barely able to work with and... i switched to ipad. But I started missing Paint Tool SAI, which I used since 2009 while at the same time loved that i could hold my ipad like a sketchbook when drawing, so I picked up the 10" tablet. I like it. If i wanted to learn clip studio, i would go nuts with how tiny the interface is, but it runs both versions of SAI really good! The driver to this XP-Pen CAN coexist with other tablets, but i think with your case, the two XP-Pens devices have to be within the same generation (i also have their OSU slate tablet and it works fine on the same driver). Anyway, lovely video! It ended up being one of my front page recommendations on the day of this comment and I was drawn in by your beautiful art! have a great day!

I started 5 years ago, I started drawing chibii comics using IbisPaintX on my broken screen phone, around 2019 I was finding my ArtStyle, around, I then was on hiatus for 2 years, and I was back this january taking commissions and it actually help me in buying a new phone, tho 80% of the money is not from taking commissions. I started doing digital art around 2016 because ever since I was little I did traditional art and I went exploring on different mediums such as oil, acrylic, etc. I wanted to try a lot of mediums. I got interested with digital arts because around that time I was on my brother's computer and my phone a lot. I thought giving digital arts a shot. I found it really difficult to draw with a mouse back then so I begged my mom to buy me a drawing tablet. I began with the most affordable pentab I could find since I was just a beginner. My first pentab was the Star G430s from XP-Pen and I'm still using it now :) Though I'm thinking of replacing it since it's starting to die on me since I've had it around 2017/2018 and I used it a lot for school.

I've actually been doing traditional art for about 6 years now, I always wanted to start taking art more seriously and draw things like emojis for my family on a tablet. My father is a streamer and my brother is RU-vidr, I draw for both of them but on a small phone which tends to lag a lot. That makes me most of the time very annoyed. So having a digital tablet for my computer would make things a lot easier. I never actually entered a giveaway before and seeing you make a giveaway, I decided to give it a shot! I haven't known you for that long, I think the first video I watched was some She-ra fanart you made. Ever since then, I fell in LOVE with your art style!!! I have started few months ago by rubbing my fingers on the phone screen and then I give up but now I have started it again because I want to move from pen and paper to digital , I have already practiced alot on paper. (I have started it again because I feel like it allows me to express my feelings/emotions and imagination more efficiently) Sorry for my bad english and that much long paragraph 😅😄

I started doing digital in 2021 around covid thats where i took art more serious I been seen art digital really inspired me to do digital art and I wanted to try it out. At first I been drawing on my phone then I saved up for a tablet I was planning getting iPad but I was little short so I just went with Android nothing wrong with that. I would like to be illustrator artist.. an idea of creating worlds and drawing unique characters makes me happy. I’m always been doing traditional art since I was little. Art is my comfort i don’t know how to express myself I could only express it through my drawings. I didn’t know there digital art my art teacher in high school said “digital does all the work.” I never understand why people hate digital media. I feel like I’m more like mix media artist but half the time I do digital, I learned a lot from digital and I also improve my art. :))

As a mangaka beginner, I have a problem with drawing on the computer in terms of the smoothness of the line and not using mouse drawing makes it very difficult for me, and I am hoping for a formal improvement with my use of tablets

I started getting interested in digital art during my high school years. I have this friend of mine who's very skilled in her craft esp digital art, and I became inspired by her. I wanted to do good as well, and improve my art skills so I tried downloading digital painting applications. Though the device does not matter sometimes, I feel that I can practice more if Ill use a drawing tablet. The problem is, I am still a student who cannot a afford to get one. I was thinking of doing commisions by the time I learn to be atleast good with it so this skill wouldnt go to waste. winning this give away would really mean so much to me. I started doing digital art around ten years ago, sometimes I did full digital drawings and sometimes I did the sketch/lineart traditionally and then finish it digitally. I like doing digital art more because it's easier for me and I can always add cute details and stickers :D
