hello!♡
it's a brand new year!! with all the optimism of early january, i set a few goals and intentions to aim for this year that'll bring me closer to where i want to be as an artist. draw with me while i tell you about them!~
i understand this time of year can be motivating to some but a little pressuring to others. don't feel too pressured to set lofty goals/resolutions for yourself this year (unless you really want to!), or feel like you need to re-invent yourself or constantly be on your grind in order to not feel "left behind". let's approach 2024 with kindness for ourselves and others. ♡

As a 13 year old artist that has taken 6 years of doodle classes am very frustrated to improve my skill in art you inspire me a lot and I think you deserve more comments likes views and subscribers your the only artist I can sit and listen and watch your videos for hours I love you and keep going be strong and remember me when your SUPER FAMOUS ❤️

I drew for years, but only recently have I begun to seriously work on my skills. I moved to primarily digital art for efficiency, but now I'm also exploring lots of traditional art materials to expand my horizons and make learning fun :) I hope you find learning just as fun as I have, and happy new year!

🫢 girrrlll the cinematography in this is so nice!!! I’m enjoying the progression of your filming skills ✨ And I really do wish you luck in all of your art goals. I have many similar ones, and I’m especially going to try my best to avoid burnout as well. A weird but good piece of advice I heard recently is “stop when you’re really enjoying it” meaning, when you’re in the middle of drawing and you’re feeling good about the piece you’re working on, set it down till the next session. It tricks your brain into thinking “wow! This was a lot of fun! I can’t wait for the next time I do that!” And I have to say I’ve noticed it works for me 🙈 Even if that doesn’t vibe with you, sending you the bestest vibes for this art year, friend!

Your videos are so fun to watch!! And I don't really have any set art goals, but one of my main ones, is just to practice poses more!! The only thing right now is the Sketchbook I'm currently in, is a smaller Sketchbook, so I want to get a little bit of a bigger one, that way I can start practicing even more, because right now I'm just doing one Posse on a page, cuz I like to make them a little bigger, so yeah haha!

One art goal out of my list of art goals that I will strive to reach no matter what is to have a dragon art piece/painting done for each month of this year. Maybe its because its the year of the dragon that this art goal came about? Good luck on reaching your art goals!
