Hey they got the sound right compared to the others retron and gamerz 8 bit nes clones and the picture is fine.

Plays everything just fine from what I have in my collection. Since this I stopped looking for other clone systems specifically for NES.

God I love it played it soo much so easy to take and plug in been playing gremlins the new batch just got me a portable clone nomad like genesis less than 100 bucks that plays all genesis games can be played on the go or a tv wow I love new technology.

Only odd thing I noticed with this recycle of the original Retron, is that the controllers from my original, won't run on it. I can use the new pad on the old model, but not the reverse.

Oh really? Most likely different stuff they are using so it could cause unwanted problems besides compatibility issues.

I really like this system. Everything works good. I got final fantasy, some of the lines in certain parts of the map look off but maybe it’s just how it is?

I have the same thing happening with final fantasy. I like the system a lot too I also noticed some weird shapes of the text boxes and lines towards top of the screen. Did you have that problem??

How well does the RCA from this do through Setups to convert to RGB?

It acts just like the original for I don’t see a difference between said original NES and this! I consider this the best NES clone out there due to how it acts, sounds and operates! Hyperkin does it right!

I have one of these. I enjoy it but I’m having some trouble. I have it hooked up to a crt. Is it possible the retron1 av is designed to be played on newer flatscreens? Any advice would be so helpful if anyone can help??

What kind of trouble are you having? Don’t think it should have issues. I know Hyperkin is good in response when you email them via by their website. Could try there.

@@DirtCat it works good over all but it’s almost like the picture is off center on double dragon, graphics look off on a few others. Final fantasy looks funky. I’m wondering what the aspect ratio is on it it looks like the screen is slightly stretched. I hope it’s not the tv I do not have flatscreen or money to get one. Thank you for your reply!

Colors are a bit off, but Double Dragon is normally off center, to the right. The leftmost 8 pixels aren't shown, so things can scroll in from that side. That's a normal NES thing that some games do.
