PSA: Scenecore is a term made to describe the scene subculture! It's making fun of terms like deathcore, crunkcore, and metalcore, which are all genres in scene. Scenecore is nothing more than a nickname, like mallcore, and not a new subculture. Hyperpop has a huge role in the modern scene revival, the Rawring 20's, and is a genre that also falls under the huge scene umbrella!! Please do your research before spreading misinformation and gatekeeping guys >~
Everyone hating on this playlist because they don’t think it’s scene, but honestly most of these songs seem like songs that a scene kid would listen to, scene is an aesthetic thats all for diversity and people making it into a style all their own
Its kinda upsetting seeing the younger gen trying to gatekeep this style when I lived it back in the early 2010s. I was so desperate then to have the style normalized or at least more wildly common?? We don't need to hide this away or even down people with correct definitions that's silly. Thank you for making this playlist because I would of ate this up as a teenager and I'm still eating it as an adult.
hey! im a traditional scene kid and heres my take. hyperpop/scenecore are losely related to scene, and more like a romanticised version of scene. traditional scene is really different from this. in the 2010 scenemo tradtion it was more bands like Millionaires, dot dot curve, s3rl etc. traditional scene is classed as crunkcore and new scene is hyperpop or scenecore. warning that hardcore trad scenes will bash on you if you call urself scene and only listen to scenecore singers like 6arely. hope this helped
@@eb4943then I am definitely a new scene type 🤣. The hyperpop production is something I can do with EVERY DAY!!! I love trad scene stuff as well but I can't get enough of 6arelyhuman and scenecore playlists 😭
The biggest notable difference is what the song is about, who the artist is, and the repetitiveness. Like scene kid music is usually about getting fucked up and fucking shit up and the beat is constant and repeats while hyper pop is full of all kinds of music with a hectic beat and can be aout basically anything. Edit- It also depends on what the artist wants to identify their music.
yall care too much about the aesthetic, like stfu and enjoy the playlist without worrying about whether its scene or not, either way fire music is just fire music at the end
@@starrycat127 newsflash, i never claimed to be anything, nor does my pfp suggest im a poser in any sort of way, how about you do me a small favor and leave people alone if you have no reason to say anything, your free to think whatever you want about me, but seriously, why are you even wasting your time analyzing my nonexistent façade? if your not here to have a real conversation, maybe you should take a long, hard look in the mirror and see if you can spot the real poser, and while you're at it, try to find a hobby that doesn't involve judging strangers on the internet, because we have bigger problems in the world than your petty observations
Hey, if you wanna make a playlist, make sure you label it correctly!! /nm this isn't scene, this scenecore. I know that you're aware of this, you shouldn't be mislabeling things ^_^
