unparalleled gratitude for you my friend. your collection... It is agonizing & graceful. It is grim & angelic. A most sobering joy & a wildly delirious melancholy. since i was young i have listened & still i shall in ripe age. easy goings to you.
@@oliver-tv7nk cheers, glad that i could share the common thread holding together those things dear to me, and that you're able to see it. i've been away for a bit but hope to start sharing again in the near future. best,
I love it when RU-vid recommends playlists from smaller channels featuring "obscure" songs/music of a specific genre (sometimes post rock or related genres) that usually has a melancholy feeling, with a random character in the video's title, making it hard to find, unless you're recommended it by chance.
This feels like an Autumn slowly & dreadfully approaching winter. in a strange home in the mountains, filled with carved wooden decorations, ink letters, books and old portraits. smell of silver, burnt mahogany and dust. Falling asleep in a windstorm on a crooked bed, and waking up at a time that looks both like night and day.
@@LillianGraceFullofficialKeep on writing. You have a way with words! Could picture everything. Especially the part detailing the eerie feeling of waking up in those weird times. When the dusk and dawn elope as one into a blend of murky browns and pastel violets. It always felt like I was still dreaming during those moments.
It sounds like a long-forgotten traumatic childhood memory. Parents are fighting, a burnt field with the smell of smoke, a happy dog and the only friend, loneliness, the sun, pain in the eyes
This strikes a chord in me, growing up damn near anywhere in dead-end texas allows you pretty frequent experience of some of these sounds but so rarely the tone. Im so used to industrialized and smoothed out countries, folks, and even rock's. This is honesty and individual pain which ive felt, and my refuge wasnt green grass, or rainy forests, but plains- plains of dead trees, and tall white-ish yellow grass, and blue-ish grey skies I need to hear more of this
@@weevil_1457a lot of this could be described as drone music There's an old band called bull of heaven that has made stuff like this but they have a lot of releases that use a lot of different styles. If you're intrigued they have a website with most of their releases but if you want the rest of them you're going to find them all in the internet archive. After the death of one of the members it became a solo project that is on RU-vid
This is exacty what i think to do music when im allone at 11pm in my room with my piano and a day with hard anxiety/depression. Feels comfy.... thanks man
great playlist! i love this style of indie post rock there's a finnish band called paavoharju you might be interested in, their stuff belongs to a similar genre
Feels like a goodbye to a past self , it’s a cold gloomy walk where you part ways. Still warm in a way, your hands stay in your pockets. Idk… but it’s nice
ive been searching for this for along time but i could never figure out what "this" is even though i know what its supposed to sound like. you dont know how grateful i am to find this
The vibe reminds me a lot of the artist Hako yamazaki. Melancholy and sadness condensed into songs. 🤍 This playlist was lovely to come across. Thank you.
salam brother. i reckon you get it. thoroughly at that. makes me quite glad to hear from another muslim; especially this way. i hope that you find cause to be grateful.
this sounds like the soundtrack from an independent movie that's either the best sh*t you're gonna watch ever or the worst crap ever produced. in any case, great stuff my friend and thanks for sharing
