same here..lol My bird flew away and he came back the next day. He was hanging out in the tree from my back yard and use this video to bring him closer so I could catch him.. :)
Just brought a new young Lovebird into my home and this is helping her (?) to be a lot more relaxed and less stressed while she adapts to her new home.
TehSohail316 When birds are fearful or stressed they generally stay still and quiet unless you are directly trying to handle them. She was in a new place, etc and was just standing on her perch as still and quiet as could be so as not to draw attention to herself. As soon as I started to play this, she heard the chatter etc of her own kind and she immediately started hopping around her new cage, chirping in response, etc.
My lovebird was really happy when I played this for him. He doesn't have any buddies since one died and the other flew away. He is unable to fly and the only company he gets is a little mirror in his cage that he is always sitting by and looking at. He kept answering the birds in the video, it was so cute.
I'm playing this video and my little lovebird is chirping along, but he's a LOUD one. We're working on teaching him about using an "indoor voice." Not very much luck with that, as yet. LOL Thanks for sharing this video!
I got my 1st lovebird when he was 10 years old and he had never been out of his cage he was very aggressive. it took awhile but the work paid off before he passed away we were best friends
my love enjoyed this a lot. Thank you for sharing.p.s. I rescued her from rancid food,one perch. She has two broken toes. poor little beauty !!! She healthy now and sang along with these lovebirds :-)
my daughter has love birds as a gift unfortunately the other one died just 2 days with us.soo this music help her a lot....everytime i put this music on we see her responding.until we get the new birds for her we just keep playin you.thank you.
I don't want to sound too nerdy but I was using a squeaking magic marker and the birds ( parrotlet and lovebird) were answering so I thought "I wonder what is on youtube?". And I found this and they loved it, answering back and fourth. They are very social birds and lonely for a "flock". Cockatoo also fascinated. Thank you for this. I wonder what would happen if I recorded "squeaking magic marker"?
+tuffduty "back and forth", though, not "fourth" ( that's 4th), also, it's "longing for a flock" (from "to long for", not "lonely" as in feeling alone) . Otherwise, funny story. I would be curious to see if they like a squeaky marker recording. :))
Hi all. Just a quick note that you should always try to 'pair' lovebirds. They do mate for life and they do get very lonely without a best friend or mate. They also make the sweetest little chitters back and forth as they nap. Try to get two. Peace.
The longtime partner of my lovebird just died 2 days ago. Is it okay to give her a new one? Should it be a lovebird also, or not always (just to have a new bestfriend)?
+Trafalgar Law Sorry about your lovebird. :( You can not just put another lovebird or even another kind of bird in the cage of the bird you already have they are very territorial and will kill the other bird. You should talk to someone that actually knows about these birds before doing such a thing please!
Janie Meyer thanks for that. Billy is doing so well until now. I kept talking with it, I just hope that will do some time. But I will keep asking for someone that knows about their behavior or how their feelings look like so I can make my Billy happy once again. (misses my Mandy bird)

+Trafalgar Law hi - I am no expert and there's probably lots if you look online. I thing it's best to gently introduce your bird to a new mate. He or she can be heartbroken (like, could have ill health) from the loss of their mate - that I did learn from my vet. All the best to you.
lovebird should be the most expesive bird in the whole wide world,thankfully its so cheap,must be the cheapest bird,but most easy to care,relaxing and loving
My lovebird Jewel loves this, she is an only bird but gets lots of attention from me and others in my house, spoiled rotten little thing she is. She was hand raised which is why she is by herself, instead of bonding to another bird she bonded to me and that's what I wanted. She is still a baby, will be a year Feb 27
This is just amazing it calms my lovebird named Tutti Frutti down and me as well. It also helps me when I try to do important paper and my lovebird is not all over me instead my lovebird is all over my phone.
My lovebird Keira starts pacing back and forth in front of my speaker when she hears this. I think she wants to rescue the lovebirds trapped in my computer...poor thing 😂
Well no because you love bird will think there are other lovebirds and he/her will be sad when he/her realizes there aren't but a few minutes a day is fine. But i've now realized if you are not home for a few hours, turning on a radio would be great for you love bird. Some times if you play this too much for your lovbird he might love the bird noises more then you for a while. Hope this helped!
thanks for uploading! one of my lovebirds, molly, recently died and we were worried for our other lovebird, loki, when he wouldn't sing anymore. this surely helped though, and he was going nuts throughout the entire video. thanks! u v u
one of mine also died after having 10 chicks. she fell pregnant practically straight away now her little body couldn't take it. but this music helped Jimmy bond with his daughter so well its unreal. u wouldn't think they were brother and sister as I had to find Jimmy a new female partner. my friend has him now but God they're so cute I wouldn't have any other birds now xxxx
I was lucky enough to find 2 lovebirds 9 months old, I only wanted one but since there not brother and sis as the pet store owner said we will have a few babies to train in a year or so, at least one for me. I am already in love only after 1 week with louie and kiki... ;)
