You know what I love most about your videos? When you decide to make things YOU JUST MAKE THEM. If you don't know something "Guess I'm learning!"...nothing stops you from making the thing. Not long sleeves, not layers upon layers of ruffles, not because there's no pattern.... if you want to make something, you'll make it. And that's the whole story. I love it. It's inspiring.
I just want to say, you are so relaxing to watch/listen too. A lot of content is so overstimulating, but you’ve managed to be engaging and calming. Seeing you create such wonderful stuff makes me so happy. Don’t ever stress about the intro not being enough or anything, it’s your main editing that keeps me engaged
Just wanted to leave a comment to express how much I appreciate your videos and especially how vocal you are about being in solidarity with Palestine, Sudan and the Congo. It's so comforting to see a popular creator stand with what she knows is right, especially when a lot of other, huge RU-vidrs, stay silent. Thank you❤
I like that you show the whole process. Your videos are inspiring b/c they're realistic. You don't sugar coat the creative process and make everything look seamless and perfect. You are real and show mistakes and at the beginning you were like "well I changed my mind but we're rolling with it!" I like that. It shows young creators that the artistic process is a *process*. And your channel is aesthetic!
What I absolutely love about crochet , is that even when we try to get it as perfect there is still a flaw. Your jacket came out beautifully despite the zipper. All of our pieces are truly unique. Love this video. I'm now going to make a fluffy short jacket lolol.
Thank you for sharing your mistake with the zipper because it's helped me realise I've also bought a normal zip when I should have bought a jacket zip! I didn't know there was a difference 😂
Saw this vid and now have decided to make the skirt for a concert simply because I need it in my life rn. Thank you for your videos they make me feel like I can make anything, you make it all make so much sense!!
For the Miffy bag, to get a good circle without a point, try doing 8-12 stitches into the magic ring and increase from there. I think I will try to make a Miffy bag with that yarn
I love the fluffy knitted vest and the rectangle of the miffy bag better than the original circle shaped one in my opinion have a blessed day and Happy Merry Christmas and New Years to you and your family and your friends God-bless you! ❤🎉
Your videos are always so inspiring!! I love how you bring such a fresh take on crochet pieces and show that crochet is for all ages and can be modern!
Hello! I just wanted to say, I love your videos and please dont stop! You motivate me to Crochet and your the reason why I even like crocheting! I love the way you add a lot of effort in your videos. And you always make my day everytime I watch the funny intros! Just please dont stop making videos! ❤❤❤
I love your videos !! Whenever im crocheting i go straight to your channel it just makes me feel so productive and makes the process so much more enjoyable
I made a bunny with amigurumi a while ago (at the time it was the largest thing i’d crocheted) and when I was doing the last ear, i ALSO ran out of my light tan yarn and had to use a more stark white one! i’ve felt bad about it for a bit but seeing your bag that was an awesome coincidence :D
You and Mahum are my favorite crochet RU-vidrs. Your videos are so informational, calming, and so easy to follow! I’m going to make everything in the video because they’re too cute just to make one😭
Thanks! I have started crocheting recently and one of the main things I’ve wanted to make is a cute mini skirt. I really love the one you made in the video so I’ll be trying to make that soon. Hopefully it goes all well 🤞
I love this series annd I'm super excited to watch this while I crochet Christmas presents for my family! I decided to do blankets for everyone and I've only done two so far so I'm trying to work as fast as possible 😩
Everything you made is so cute and sweet. But that skirt is everything! It's so sweet and delicate looking, and just adorable! The ribbon and button details are absolutely perfect. I honestly think it's the best skirt you've made so far and it looks amazing on you! I really like how the handwarmers match without being identical. I thought they are so pretty. That vest is cute, although I get what you mean about the zipper. I find them hard to work with as well. If you make another, maybe try making it only a half zip? I think it would still be super cute and maybe less difficult to make. Over all, this was a super cute and cozy video and I think it was wonderful!
I just love your videos! You are so creative and motivate me to try out new stuff and styles in crochet. I even started to look back into knitting; we will see how that goes 😂 the intro is perfect as it is and i love authenticity over perfection. I also love how you show your thought process and ideas and the cozy aspect of your videos. Thank you so much! 🍉
hey ikoxun!! when i saw the miffy bag i really wanted a miffy plushie amigurumi hope you will make a free pattern for us! btw in love with the miffy bag💛
I look forward to these videos so much!!! They're so inspiring and fun, and you have a really chill and enjoyable video style, I always come away feeling more creative from them :)
I absolutely loved this video and it just made me realise how amazing you are, you're kind, resilient, creative, smart and absolutely gorgeous and you are literally such a role model to me xx :)
you make some of my favorite crochet/knitting videos because you make pieces that I feel like a lot of other content creators don't touch on (like mini skirts). your style is so cute and you are genuinely such an inspiration to get better at hand crafts :3 lovely video & pieces as always
your videos are always so inspiring to try new and different project and i just wanted to say thank you for that! everything turned out so fricking cute! love your vids
For the shirt where the buttons are, you could’ve done slightly thicker ribbon bows and sew them on where the buttons would be, but also sew the buttons in the center of the bow
I was looking everywhere t find the perfect skirt to crochet for my Melanie Martinez concert im going to (im making a fully crocheted outfit because I can't find the EXACT outfit I want online) and I almost settled for a standard skirt with maybe a lace at the bottom. YOU ARE AN ANGEL!!!! this is exactly the style of skirt I was going for!! It's so beautiful! thank youuuuuu
I like the vest most, then the bag. I think with tweaking of length, the vest will look great on anyone. You have also inspired me to crochet some lacy hand/arm warmers. Maybe with scallops. I am thinking off white would be better for me, because they won’t stay pure white for long.
Idk if it’s too late but you can replace the jacket stopper with string by just sewing it over the bottom of the zipper many times and then the zipper won’t come off (I did this for a pair of shorts and it works super well)
The fluffy jarn west was nerve-wracking to watch getting crocheted gurl omg, & the sipper I felt that one tho 😭 Good job tho. I would have cried for a week after some failed attempt 😅
You should try single crochet or slip stitch ribbing. It holds its shape so much better than half double crochet. Also, good job on that fluffy yarn, I have a basket of it and it scares me.
a tip for when doing circles like for the midday bag just increase the amount of stitches between your increased with each row. so for example with scs first row a increase in every stitch, for row two it would be one increase one sc, third row it would be an increase two sc and so on so you add stitches between the increase until it is the size you want it
Hey Ikoxun! next time you try a project like the miffy bag if you do like 10 single crochet instead of 6 (assuming you did 6) into the magic ring it'll have less issues with being like a dome and it'll probably turn out nicer. hope this helps if you ever retry it :)
🐰 *Miffy bag* It turned out so cute honestly and square Miffy is supreme ✊ and I hope you hands are feel better. ( The rest of these emojis are the best I could find 😞)(I'm running out of vocabulary bear with me ) 🧤 *Hand warmer* They look so cute on you ahhhh. I love when you knit some items they always look nice and neat. 👗 *Mini skirt* It looks amazing on you, honestly you have the most fashionable college student vibe I've ever seen. 🧥 *Faux fur Jacket* The vest turned out so adorable on you and I guess the struggle to put it on and take it off is worth it cause it looks amazing. Have a great Christmas 👑 Stay Cool Queen 👑
all of those are so cool and pretty! im still amazed at the speed youre making those videos in honestly. also, im making something very similar to the vest right now, so that was a fun one to see!
you got me, i bought knitting needles! the idea of using two needles is strange to me, and i struggled most with the purl stitch, but im getting used to it. i LOOOVE your patterns and im so glad you post them online to share with the world 🫶
@@ikoxun i practiced a lott and im starting this nice leg warmer pattern :] i love the yarns you use, i cant find any good yarn stores in my area, but i make the most of what i find !!
@@nathalielvr it's the same way with where I live. thankfully I do have craft stores, but those have limited choices in yarn especially if I want some that are unique or hand dyed. Good luck with your leg warmers!!
Ok I might comment a couple more times bc i don’t wanna forget my notes as I watch, idk if you’re going to find this out but when I’ve seen ppl make circle bags they’ll crochet two circles and seam them together, so maybe if you wanna make another miffy bag someday that’s round you could do that!
yess that’s what i initially tried 😞 i tend to always have trouble with circles but that’s just something i have to sit down and figure out so i can attempt a circle version
@ikoxun the stitch on your skirt that you don’t know the name of (time stamp 19:24, also stitch for purple skirt), seems to be a mix of [the first half of a star stitch] and a [single crochet spike stitch]. If I were you, I’d call it a Thicc Spike Stitch! UwU
