Rangers brought about their own downfall by refusing to admit that At that time Celtic were the better team! It happens! Celtic were in the doldrums for years but never embarked on the suicidal policies that David Murray did. He spent money they didn’t have stacked up massive debts, refused to run the club as per Inland Revenue Tax rules, and paid the consequences! 9 years of criminality which led to Rangers FC ceasing to exist, expulsion, massive tax liabilities on the club and their players, and putting the new club in an almost impossible position to ever recover due to their financial situation! A fact Celtic supporters should remember. Because the club have a substantial Cash Balance ensures their survival at the level we have come to expect but to squander it irrationally to make an impact momentarily in Europe is going down the road of Mr. Murray’s Folly! Absolute nonsence we cant keep sacking managers, even pep would struggle with players available and the budget. There is clearly a transition period going on which rarly takes 10 months, the state Beale and the board have left the club in with their shocking desicions will probably mean this could take up to 3 years if not 4. Im resigned to the fact we will probably not win anything this year but will possibly next year or the year after but changing managers again means we have to do it all again. If anyone needs to go its the board. Weather we like it or not the fact remains celtic are miles ahead of us on how a football club should be run they have a board that know what they are doing. On the park its not as far as made out if we look at the last few old firm games altough we got beat it was a lot closer especially the cup final and the 3-3 draw which either team could have won. Our board had a chance in January to do our business then, and sign some decent strikers who could get us over the line, the fact they didnt is the reason we now find ourselves in this mess.
