What I'd like to know is, how in the HELL did they manage to capsize that power-cat? It didn't look like the seas were THAT high on the day the Coasties shot that footage. Another good section was the (minor) stuff of the Cigarette, admittedly they WERE crossing the wake of a much larger boat while entering the inlet, still that took some "talent"! Looked like another good day of shooting idjits on the water and the bikini babes that like to "get wet" ;) !

Kids don’t get it. Telling Dad or their uncle again again. Your responsible. My dad and I’m sure my brother leaned over while we were parked to touch the water. Life jackets I think were made better back then. Kids had a big flotation and a handle to grab in case the leaned over too far but for some gotta break a few eggs before making an omelet

How does Florida get away with no visible boat registration? Here in WA state you have to have like 3” numbers and current boat tag on the bow.

@brotherheed00 Pleasure boats over 25-26 feet can be documented and are not required to have numbers on the bow. The name of the boat and home port are required on the stern.
