Anyone who has had a blackhead, sebaceous filament, etc around the lip area and popped it knows how painful this video is.

Those who don't shed a tear extracting pimples on or around lips don't fear anything in life

To prevent build up of any product that clogs the pores resulting in blackheads can be reduced by regular cleaning of the area.

I get them sometimes. Once in a while after extracting it, it'll come back as a small pimple for a bit. Some of the pops were blocked by you.

How do people just look at themselves in the mirror in the morning and not feel the urge to pop these? The slightest thing has to go, for me 😂

I found out from an allergy test that I have an aversive reaction to glycerin. I’ve found that using balms with that, coconut oil or waxy stuff causes these, which is most products. But like you stated, it happens if you go outside the natural lip line. I don’t really line my lips outside my natural lip line, which many girls actually do. When I’ve told people what I just shared, they seldomly believe me. You are very on point here.

I don’t know about the lip balm thing but that was satisfying AF to watch😂

Always love how doctors tell us not to pop pimples and such, yet this is the exact same technique we use. I think ill be keeping my money and continue to do it myself.

I love getting blackheads out of skin of those whom are not figity and want them out. I’m bold in asking anyone can I pop their blackheads lol especially around the lips because you want your lips inviting, not looked at with concern. Pure Aquaphor in the stick! I’ve switched to it since moving to a harsh winter climate and it’s the only thing that works well, heals any microfissures on my lips, and doesn’t clog the pores around my lips! Since you can put it anywhere, I also have another I’ve labeled with a black Sharpie that I use in and around my nostrils when they get red and sore from runny nose!

But you can literally see the hairs in the pores that cause clogging. I dont necessarily think its the lip balm for this guy.

I get them whether I use lip balm or not. I believe I break out just because I miss that area when I wash my face and I can end up with food residue sitting there for a long time.

I had this problem when i was a teen people said i had std had to get tested to show otherwise 😅 middle school was ruff bless all the kids going thru it ‼️

I use lip balm at least 50 times a day! I hate for my lips to be dry. I always, always have at least 25 lip balm sticks in and around my home. I have never gotten a blackhead on or around my lips!

I use Burt’s Bees. I love the coconut pear. It’s so soothing and I’ve never gotten blackheads from it.

Hair follicles are the main cause for me. Once in a while I get a dilated pore. This person also had their hair follicles build up with sebum. Lip balm has nothing to do with it

Interesting information. Now i’m using a Neutrogena lip balm and sometimes just Vaseline 💖

I have to use lip balm everyday rest of my life. My lower lip is numb. TMJ surgery dr accidently cut the nerve & will never heal itself. That surgery was a total joint R & L joints & number of surgeries on my TMJ'S

I don’t use lip balm and I still get these from time to time. I’m just glad it’s not an every few days problem. That would be annoying. 😭

Stay hydrated, my friends. Drinking more water will keep your skin looking great and your lips hydrated to the point that you may only have to use a balm 1-2x a day

I've always used blistex and have had acne most of my life - NEVER had any problems. But I also wipe and reapply several times a day. Some people put it on and let don't reapply or keep reapplying leaving the old layer beneath (nasty).

I use aquaphore on my lips as it’s the only thing that seems to work well for me. Most lip balms almost dry my lips out over time so I use them sparingly.

In Colorado you just cannot have lip balm, especially in the winter.

I don't use any lip balm but zrilp break out, but I will keep this in mind! Thank you!

Shea butter is a good alternative. I use it everyday. Leaves my lips juicy and my skin hydrated 😊

I'm about to start using balm again cause these are the most satisfying blackheads to pop lol.

Those ones that cluster at the corners of the mouth are very often caused by vitamin deficiency.(cheilosis)

I've used lip balm for 40 years & never had blackheads around my lips,nor do I have any age related lines around my mouth.

I doubt it's lip balm causing this more like excess oil production, bacteria, and hair follicles that are clogged by oil, dead skin, and debris can cause pimples on the lip line.

Use Vaseline, shave as it can exfoliate, use salicylic acid and also if you smoke, stop because that's what is causing it. Hope this helps. 😊

no one ever talks about the fact that you dont need lip balm if you are ACTUALLY hydrated. If your lips are chapped you need to drink more water.

I have been using Weleda's Everon for over 25 years and have never gotten black heads or any clogged pores from it - so I can reccomentd this lip balm from experience.

Also, exfoliate your lip area if you use chap stick or vaseline. Both leave a layer over the skin and it can't breathe. ❣️

I cant live without lip balm, I use Chapstick. Ive never gotten blackheads around the mouth, but I can tell you, I dont have any wrinkles around my mouth, at 66 yrs old. Ive always used lip balm since I was very young.

Perhaps it’s the fine hairs causing an issue! I’ve used Vaseline and other chapsticks as well as lipsticks and never gotten these. I’ve gotten them over my nose after a nasty cold and OCH!! Wretched.

I do not use lip balms during the day. At night I later on a heavy lotion and Vaseline on my lips and wake up to baby soft lips. While it’s damp from my mourning skin case routine I dab more Vaseline on top and it’s usually good for the rest of the day.

Switch to a lip balm that contains salicylic acid. Carmex is a good option.

About 17 years ago, I went to the dermatologist with a red ring of irritation around my lips. I was terrified that my bf at the time gave me some kind of disease because I had suspicions of cheating (found out later he was, of course). I was a nervous wreck. By the time the doctor walked into the exam room, I burst into tears and said, “I have some kind of STD on my lips, don’t I?” She took my concerns very seriously, but within 5 seconds of looking at my lips, she smiled and asked, “do you use chapstick?” I reached into my left pocket where I ALWAYS kept my Cherry Chapstick as I am someone who cannot STAND the feeling of unmoisturized skin (face, lips, hands, feet mist ALWAYS be moisturized). Anyway, so she grabbed the tube of Chapstick from me and asked, “How often do you use this thing?” I replied, “AT LEAST 10 times a day.” She smiled again and said, “No sweetie, you don’t have an STD. You’ve developed an allergy to the scents and/or dyes in this junk-and you’ve been applying the source of your allergic reaction 10 times a day, everyday.” I knew instantly she was correct as I know all too well how we can develop allergies to anything at anytime in our lives. After applying the Rx steroid cream I’d need to apply for 5 days (that gave me instant relief), she then introduced me to something I’d never heard of before in my life to use on my lips instead. She said it would feel 10 times more effective and is immensely healthier for my skin. She put the tiniest dot of this ointment on my clean finger and told me to rub it in. I thought she was crazy thinking that tiny bit would do anything for my forever thirsty lips, but I did as she instructed… In that moment, my life forever changed. This ointment felt like an ocean of hydration on my lips from that TINY little bit I applied. My eyes opened wide and I literally said, “WOW!” out loud. From that moment on, I haven’t used anything else on my lips. I rarely use lipstick or lipgloss because it literally looks like I’m wearing high end gloss just from wearing this world changing ointment (and I have to buy the expensive makeup to avoid allergic reactions!). Throughout the years, I’ve used this ointment for a million things all over my body. I just washed my lips and applied this miracle ointment and it feels just as good now as it did that first time 17 years ago… Because that is the magic of *AQUAPHOR* 😉

That’s why I use my face moisturizer on my lips. Never have an issue and my lips are rarely dry anymore cuz they’re not use to lip balm that makes them dry out so you just use more.

The video has a logical contradiction: lip balm and mustache usually don’t go together.

I feel this. I have crazy dry lips from Isotretinoin treatment and slather them in Aquaphor. If I use anything else they stay dry and I get these spots. So far Aquaphor hasn’t caused any issues!!

Personally I think it’s probably just because when people wipe their face or wash it at night, we purse our lips to get them out of the way, and so soap doesn’t get in your mouth, so those parts right around the lips get missed.

I have one blackhead that periodically needs to be popped maybe once or twice a year and although satisfying hurts SO much!

Can I get a couple suggestions on who to watch for full videos I’m almost all done watching every one of these shorts and i NEED to watch the full videos.

I never use lip balm, but I find squeezing those blackheads so satisfying that I might start using it 😂

I get them if I use lip balm too often. If I'm putting it on multiple times in a shortnpwriod of time I'll eventually get them. Found the best way to handle it is be careful about how much I'm using and how long I leave it on for.

I use natural lip balms. More like a chapstick and sometimes just plain old coconut oil regularly. I love Fresh. This was extremely satisfying😊.

Yes lip balm is so thick it definitely clogs the pores. A good sugar scrub on your lips will help or brushing your lips and surrounding area with your soft bristles toothbrush when you brush your teeth helps remove the clogs from the pores

Sometimes dry lips occur as a result of a vitamin deficiency. Hope this helps somebody!

i had this where i was using too much lip cream and thing i had these very noticeable bumps that i already thought i had herps but it was just my lip products. if your lips get dry a lot i recommend just a little bit of gloss that have mint in it.

We clearly cannot assume it’s happening from “lip balm” when plenty of people get these who don’t even use “lip balms” at all 😂. Especially men. For most people those are simply just hairs & they can usually be removed easily ,but some are harder to remove than others, and after you remove it you usually have a small empty hole there …..but most of the time it will eventually come back again or sometimes even more will pop up 😅

Could it also be ingrown hairs around the lips? You see some of the hair follicles coming out with the push and the pus being removed or blackhead.

Using antibacterial Dial liquid soap has helped my skin resolve acne alot
