Capture speed from medals caps at 40%. You can check other caps like crit or damage reduction in the medal limits, which can be found in a medal's details, under its tags. (seen at 5:34)
An excellent guide for new players and those who are clueless on how to maximise their advantage using medals.. not surprised that not many RU-vidrs do these videos about medals.. I think Roman is one of the only few that understands very well about medals and how to make full use of them. Why I am highlighting this is that there are many mid RU-vidrs who use auto support, who don’t know what medals to match for the best effects and traits.. lol

Me personally I would put them on whatever medal will be the most universal (can use on many characters) so I would put it on a luffy medal that you know could be used on other things. Make sure you only put a non specific trait in the 3rd slot of the medal! So maybe a 14% or something that you don’t care to get rid of later on if you get a 3rd 24% hp! Probably luffy set is best since hp and atk is generally best build for like 90% of attackers!

yo roman, i unlocked the colored luffytaro medal but already have a good one i want to get the color on. but how or will i have to get 3x 24% hp again ?
they need to make a feature, for already owned medals to get colored without losing the stats.. i don‘t wanna buy another 3x 24hp just for the color x)

i have the boa set, working on my big mom set atm. but i don‘t have the blue big mom, so its kinda hard to get her medal.. i don‘t see that many blue big moms in league. using the event katakuri instead until i’m lucky enough to snatch one :/

I have a problem, i used one 24% hp medal, four 18% defense medal and four 18% attack medals but none of them are giving me the effect i wanted. i got less than 24% for hp and less then 70% for attack and defense. does it mean i can max only 1 stat to 70%?
Ohhhh ya that’s a good one!!! People under estimate basic attacks! I kinda hate how the game turned into the meta of use skills then run away until they’re back up. I’m glad they’re getting out of that tho
Don't have bounceman for triple luffy set. But have complete triple boa set. So is it okay to go for a general attacker medal set with boa. If so what is the best stats for a general attacker medals(atk/def,atk/hp,atk/def/hp)

F2P Bandai boost huh? 🤣 Excellent guide coincidentally i was just trying to make a medal set for my Raid in Onigashima Jimbei, and i was wondering if i should replace his flat +160 def boost with some 12% or 14% def increase because he has pretty damn bad base stats, but since everything he has is above 1300 he can benefit more from stacking 12% traits I think flat increases are more valuable for characters that are still around lvl 80 or below and their stats can't reach that mark, for example my lvl 80 Wholecake Island Jimbei has a base ATK stat of just 1080, so he will benefit more from that peak +300 ATK bonus
F2P LYFE 💪🏽 Ya flats are useful for those but since I don’t expect to keep my characters lower level for too long I always build with the mindset they will be maxed someday!
it won't always go up. It's picking one of the 3 traits that you have on that current medal. (Sometimes landing on the same one) So you will need to keep retrying the medal transfer until you get the trait you want! It's a terrible method because it costs gems but that's how bandai has it -_-
Old event medals you can’t get. The lawffy medal tho you can get by playing with somebody who uses him. (Only a chance tho) or you play with him yourself!
Unfortunately he's not that strong in the meta anymore. If you wish you could go for damage increase as it will allow you do kill things much easier like triple luffy set. Otherwise getting your skill 1 cdr would be really useful as well. (Look at animal kingdom pirate combinations)
There will always be new puffy medals popping up. You can mix and match many of the animal kingdom pirate medals so that’s an option as well! Remember just playing with people who have the character grant you a chance so if blue big mom is ever buffed I’m sure many people will pick her up!

Atk. Traits are Hard to get. If You are not getting atk. Trait on some specific medal Try to upgrade different medal one time then get back to Same medal in which you wanted atk. Traits. Sometimes upgrading same medal sucks in drop rates for the traits.
1.) make sure it’s possible to get attack you can check that by pressing the “rates” button on a medal 2.) while on rates check the number it’s probably super low!
Alabasta Zoro (gives 90% crit when hp below 50%) medal is underrated, it's very good on Oni Zolo, Yamatoes, and Katakuri mainly Katakuri. (For those that likes crit medals)
