Group 1 sounds like my grandfather, who I wasn't expecting to some through but wow, what a message. When he was alive he put way more effort into having a relationship with my sister than with me, and it made me feel bad. I've learned after his passing that this was due to a complicated family issue and that I was the collateral damage, and that it was not his intention to hurt me. I discovered we actually have quite a bit in common. Also the part about "fun violins" so to speak resonates. When my mom and I were cleaning his house after his passing we found a "fun" and "mullets" we were not expecting to find in his closet. We thought he was done with that after he came home from Korea. I've been feeling especially sensitive about his passing lately because I came up with what I thought was a good baby name to possibly commemorate him if I ever had a boy, and foolishly told my sister. Now she's pregnant and she's taking the name, and won't even give me credit for coming up with it (It's an unusual name that is not my grandfather's name itself) and it feels like salt in the wound. I thought I was done healing but come to find out I'm not. I'm glad he at least sees that I'm hurting and he may be the only person not telling me to "just get over it." I needed this message.
