Pile 2 and 3. Both make sense, and the information seems like it could be accurate. But, if the info in pile 3 is correct, then I'd be just wasting my time. I can't be waiting for someone to be still be getting drawn back into the superficial life style with those friends. That just seems like the type of situation that will never end honestly.... and it's definately a possibility in my case with my person! If he's still struggling with all that, and hasn't got his head around the meaning of this relationship, and having confusing thoughts or doubts still, then I give up. I always thought that we were on the same page! But I could really be wrong about that! And that we were only waiting for one thing. The human obstacle to get out of the way. Maybe that's WHY it's actually been taking so damn long! That it's NOT just THAT. But that he's in fact facing a lot more confusion than I even imagined.
