❤️ Decorate the kids doors: You can do this the night before or while they are at school.We did ours a couple days before so the kids can share homemade Valentine's Day love notes with each other. Every night we add a love note to their mailboxes and they wake up to a sweet message!
❤️ Hug Your Neighbors: I love this tradition, add some special candy, games, crafts and treats for a neighbor and put it on their porch! Here is a link to the printable - www.etsy.com/listing/11302910...
❤️ Hide Love Notes: I simply cut out strips of paper and used the below prompts and wrote out 100 love notes for my kids and put them in zip lock bags. I add them to their shoes, backpacks, pockets, closets, drawers, under pillows, anywhere the kids go all the time.

I would cut out heart out of construction paper, write something they are good at or a good trait and taper one on the door every night between Feb 1 and Valentine’s Day. My son loved it.

7:56 omg that’s so precious! 🥹 this is such a great way to celebrate the holiday with your children and from what I’ve seen growing up, kids who got valentines and/or gifts from their parents every year typically end up not hating Valentines Day as adults 😂 I can’t wait to do things like this for my future children! 🥰

The way I look at Easter and valentines treats is that it’s not the candy that you’re gunna remember. I LOVED when my mother gave us chocolates on Valentine’s Day but not because of the chocolates, I loved the little snoopy toy that came with them. They don’t do that anymore but those were the best

I take small cardboard boxes from target or Amazon and make valentines mailboxes that I attach to the walls outside their bedroom doors and then from 1 through 14 I put lil things inside with a small love note of positive affirmation but target bullseye 5 below have so many fun things to stick in there from wall crawlers to crafts and candy.. it’s so fun to see their faces light up when they get their treats out of their mailboxes everyday 3:05

Love the love note mailbox idea. My husband and I have a chalkboard that we write just to each other on - love notes, thanking each other for little (or big) things done. Once it's full - I snap a pic with my phone, erase it, and start all over again. I then do a shutterfly book so we can enjoy someday in our later years. Your channel is the best one on RU-vid!
