Finish Christmas 🎄. Then make a donation pile and get a trash bag for trash . You always have a beautiful home tour . Mark your containers . I use painter tape and a sharpie. You got this !!!

It's nice to go through things. I got rid of more Christmas this year and donated it. I think it's funny how our taste changes. Thank you, Crystal, and I hope you get your things situated.

I know I have told you this before, but Crystal I really love videos like this. vlogs I guess that's what they're called lol. I don't know I think it's fun I feel like I'm sitting there with you I just wish I could help you out. You not taking a shopping day to do this for yourself to get your house in order is a great idea. I love everything you do for the channel with all the shopping videos but I also want to make sure that you're taking care of you your house and your hubby and doing what you need to do for your family. I can't wait for you to get your house. Make sure when you're scoping out houses you have a whole area with shelving for all your storage bins and then once you label them all, you will be able to keep it all organized. Hi Crystal you have a lot of adorable things. I always donate to the Salvation Army because they don't make a profit from the donations and they help people rehabilitate their lives. Once you are able to donate the items you don't want you will start to feel so much better. When I buy something new I either donate or give away something old to try and minimize having too much in my closets. ❤

I stopped donating to Goodwill as well. I donate to organizations that I can clearly see their charitable works. Likely millions donated to Goodwill,but where is all of that money going? They claim they teach classes. Whoopee!

You have so many pretty Valentine canisters and other Valentine pieces I would like to suggest that you buy two or three clear totes with red lids to store them. It would be easier to find them when the holiday comes around. Also could be labeled with letters that you can find at Dollar Tree. They are approx 1.5 to 2” in height so would be very easy to find. Keep up the great shopping and haul videos. Happy Valentines!

I love it! You have so many cute hard to find items! 🎀 things I cant/couldnt find here. Personally, I would keep all of them. No throw away, no donating lol😄 I might need it for small touches here and there. Or, want it for my theme next year. Cause looking for particular items are hard work going to not just one but several stores whos far away from each other. Sometimes they are no longer available and I regret getting rid of them in the first place 😩 I get so disappointed 💔

I'm so sorry, Crystal, I was never into the gnomes!! Yes, I'm right with you, Crystal!! It's so crazy what we end up with!! I'm in the process of doing a huge declutter around my parents' house (they have passed away), our house, and the buildings at both places. We are trying to move in the house I grew up in. It's a lot to deal with. My husband works so hard for our family and doesn't have the time to help me with a lot of the work. Our daughters are in college. I'm hoping that one day, I can decorate for each holiday like you!! While growing up, my parents would go all out decorating for Christmas in the yard. I would like to somewhat do the same and then some. After I got married, they tend to decorate with a lot of cement statues at Christmas. I knew my husband wouldn't help me decorate with these cement statues, so I sold a few of these statues. The people I sold them to -- -- actually put them out for Christmas. I've been by their house and was blessed to see the tradition of those statues up in a yard for Christmas. I do have other cement statues I want to sell, so I can do repairs at my folks' old house. There are a few things that I found that has helped me on this journey and thought you might could use. First, it's a great idea to go through the storage bins. To make it easy, store your decorations for each holiday in different totes. Second, make sure you label your storage bins (totes) -- -- that will help to keep it organized. I'm finding that out more every day. Third, I got the packing paper from Walmart to wrap everything in. I would use bags, bubble wrap, whatever I could use, but I like the packing paper better because it seems to take up less room in my storage bins (totes). Fourth, I'm putting my throws and pillows in the same tote. I'm thinking about putting my dish towels, tablecloths, table runners with my cups and canisters in another tote. Fifth, wash the tablecloths on the gentle/delicate cycle and hang them up to dry. I love watching your channel to see what's out there so I can get ideas. I want to celebrate the holidays even as things get tighter and more difficult in this world. I hope you get your things situated. Please take care of yourself!!! ❤❤ Love ya!! Crystal you can maybe finds some churches or shelters to give your Valentine decor away. Sometimes we get tired of stuff so I give it away and buy more if I want to and dontvcare what no one thinks it's my money.

Those Dollar Tree candy jars with the pink heart lids I think you bought like six or seven of them sweetie😅❤ Wash the tablecloth on the gentle cycle sweetie and hang it up to dry.

Crystal costco has the black bins with yellow lids on sale right now for 7.99. You should buy extra so you have bins for every holiday. Pack up all christmas before you bring in valentines to make it easier on you and less to work around. ❤

Don’t feel bad Chrystal. I’ve just taken done my Christmas tree. I was good and took down the outside Christmas decorations after New Years. I knew snow would be coming to the midwest. So far I put my Valentine’s Day window lights up . Just watched your video and I am going to get the energy up to take the rest of Christmas down. I video all my holiday home decorating each season and look back at them on my phone when I go holiday decor shopping. I try not to buy more of the same things. I think I’m over these cheap dollar tree gnomes and wall decor. I’d rather buy better quality things when they go on sale knowing they will last longer. I also noticed that Goodwill asks a lot for donated Dollar Store signs. I know it’s for charity but the price should not be more than the store asks.I’ll get my coffee mug filled up and tackle the rest of Christmas decorations along with you Chrystal!😅

I feel your pain in not being able to find things you know you have! Also, trying to transition from one holiday to the next & still having the last holiday to put up....I finally just got all the Christmas decor down & put up. Last night we decorated very minimal for Valentine's Day & i threw in some Easter with it too lol. Easter is the next Big holiday we decorate for. We do inside & outside for all the holidays & i love it but sometimes i just miss our "regular home decor" idk if that makes sense or not. This is so good I just packed up the rest of Christmas tonight .So I turn this on and it helps because I already saw right now some things I have specially D.tree stuff .I can see with you before I start digging and bringing up my valentines decorations up to decorate. After my fiance takes the rest of bins downstairs what a job I did in about 4 parts about 3 bins each time every section of putting up was a lot of work .I'm glad it's packed .Now to get all my valentines that I'm using up and decorate with take probably a week depends on if I get in-between time caring for my 93 year old bedridden mom. I love my decorations any holiday will do for me .I get a lot on temu sense I'm home for 5 days straight with my mom its easier to order from them .But I do get to all the Dollar stores and other places but only my days out of house .

I just finally got the last of the Christmas in my bedroom put away today. The rest of my house was already decorated for Valentine’s Day. Everyone is running late on getting Christmas down this year lol… just so busy. I hit up target, a few things from hobby lobby, a little bit of cupcakes and cashmere & the dollar tree as usual for valentines but generally I’m more interested in vintage / thrifted this year and try to get away from so much breakable stuff. Next year will probably be more DIY. I’m worried about our houses starting to look kind of the same. I love watching your channel to see what’s out there so I can get idea’s and be more intentional as inflation is really hitting especially with food. I’m decorating earlier now to see what I already have / want before shopping and I have to donate to make room cause we’ve reached our storage capacity. I can easily cut my decor budget going forward and still love the result. I want to keep moral up and celebrate the seasons even as things get tighter and more difficult and hopefully I can help others do the same. Btw I like the beaded heart, I think you could easily Crystal it up.

Hi Chica.. Amazon has some really cool Valentine Pillow covers cheaper than buying new pillows. Measure the pillows you don't like and perhaps you can find covers. Pillows take up so much space and also I like changing them so have been opting for covers. Just a thought :) Where I live the veterans do pickups right at your door so great way to purge. Love your new filming style for sure. Feels like I am right there with you having fun ❤

I started to purge before Thanksgiving and it feels like a weight has been lifted off my body! Sounds crazy but it’s true. I had too much clutter when decorating.

When you first started getting stuff out of your bins, I got anxious. I have not caught up from Thanksgiving. I’m so grateful that years ago I bought a bunch of airtight tubs by IRIS. They are SO expensive now. In our carport we have some really good storage, but not temperature controlled. When you started throwing some things away and donating other things, I started to relax. I am learning to get like dollar tree round clothes hamper, and while you go through it, you can have one for donate, one for glass containers, one for towels, and linnins and maybe signs and a trash bag. There is no particular order, but it would help the process. Im trying this, and i hope that you can get your own system down. Less stress for us lol. What a sense of accomplishment Crystal!🤩 It's great to have gone through the Valentine's totes!😘 Now you're on your way to packing up Christmas and decorating for other holidays!😚 We're having a lot of rain too! It started raining Sunday night and continued through most of Monday. We've had an inch and a half so far and will probably get more Tuesday and Wednesday. I guess you could call this our rainy season.😋 It's better than the snow we had at this time for the past two years.😉 I'm feeling a little better and expanding what I can eat, a little at a time. I'm still not eating like I used to and I'm eating so much less. I went to my family doctor last week and had lost 4 lbs. When so many people gain weight at Christmas, I had a cold and wasn't eating much then. Then the past two weeks has been a gradual build up to eating light meals. My sister and I both had appointments last week and after we finished we went out to eat. As you can imagine, it was pretty challenging for me. But the special of the day was enchiladas with rice and beans. Everything was so nice and soft and I didn't have a problem eating any of it!☺️ Since I'm eating smaller portions, I've been having headaches from not eating often enough. Guess I should get to bed now. I have a virtual visit with my pain doctor tomorrow. I really like not having to drive to see him right now since he's in another town. I'm glad to see you doing more videos from home! You were running yourself down from going out to shoot 2 and 3 videos a day. You have a good supply of decorations and you can spend more time working in your house! Thanks for sharing another great video!🥰

I have to get my baby brother to come help me clear out the back of storage tomorrow just to make room to put my Christmas decorations that I still have to put away, because I bought an overload of Christmas decorations last year.
