Wanted to thank you, worked perfect on my audi A5 sportback 2012. Made a hole to the fusebox on the side and conected to the radio fuse! Now just enable VIM and enjoy! Great video!

Hello, I own an Audi A5 Sportback 2011 with an MMI 3G High and activated all AUX/AMI/BT AMI and connected a AMI-3 RCA AV cable + digital HDMI to analog RCA converter + Google Chromecast 3.When I change the options in the green screen and I leave the just the AUX on the video doesn't work, just the audio and if I select BT AMI/AMI it says 'AMI Not Supported' . Can you give me a hint about what can I do to make it work ? If i activate VIM will this work or it's supposed to work without VIM, because on another A5 this cable with this exact connection worked plug-and-play, just like that . Thank you very much !

VIM its only needed if you want to use that device while driving as by default it will turn off video when driving.. about green menu section, if it's the same car with same unit, just check the settings on green menu regarding AMI, and try to set the same.

hello great job very informative videos!!!! what if you don't have AMI??? i have A6 c7,5 model 2015 MMI high with factory apple car play with 2 usb on centre box...how can i watch netflix and youtube??
