I haven’t found a great way to do it yet but I’ve been using either wax paper or parchment paper (or left over vinyl backing paper if I have a pc) to line the back part or front of the iron on .. the part that’s sticky so it don’t stick to anything else .. or I fold a pic around the decal and then put it onto a little baggie. It’s the only way I’ve been able to do it and the wax paper parchment paper I’m sure don’t look awesome but so far it’s worked and I’ve sold many and no one has complained yet
Thank you for this! I'm working on my first car decal for a customer & I don't want it to be difficult for them to apply. This answered my question (pre-peeling) and I love how you packaged it! I had a similar idea but loved seeing yours. Very nice! Also, I love your energy. Do you have a price chart for decals that you wouldn't mind sharing? Thanks again for the great video! ♥️
Hi there! That all depends on your market. I would take a look to see what decals are selling for in your area and go from there! A good place to start is Facebook marketplace or Etsy!
Hi great 👍 I was wondering what is the original paper that holding bulk vinyl before cutting it. The wax paper or no stick backing of the product? I am producing large decals and cutting them in large sections and I need to assemble them or transfer them to a different piece to make all one for the customer. I don't know what to call it so that I can order it in bulk with no vinyl on it.
I want to ship my decal stickers to the UK but I don’t know how to add 1st class international shipping which is less than $2. Any idea how to do this?
Hello Aimee, Our apologies for the delay in response and we hope you've found the answer but if you are still having any troubles, please feel free to write in to mail@designbundles.net or join us in a live chat so we can help with your next project! -Brittany
Do you recommend clear transfer tape or can I use the "masking" transfer tape. I get that on a roll and it's so much easier to work with. How do you package multi-layer decals. Man I struggle with that one.
You can definitely use whatever you are comfortable with! For multi layer decals I would layer the decal how it should be and then put the transfer tape on so it is ready to go! 😊
How much does it cost to ship decals. What methods do you use? I keep seeing people selling decals online for $1.50 cents + free shipping. I don't get how that's possible.
They are most likely just sending them as is, in a plain white letter envelope. which means they'd only weigh a few ounces and take like 1 or 2 stamps and they probably buy their stamps in bulk and don't worry about it. That is how I got mine I bought a few years ago, before I got into the Cricut world
Great video! Thank you for posting! Where do you get your decal care instructions at? Did you make those? Where's a good place to get care instruction cards?
Got a question... I don't know if you sell t-shirts at craft shows, fairs, etc but wondering if you have a suggestion for a container or something to transport like 100 or more t-shirts that are already pre-packaged like you do? Thanks!
I would like to know what kind of transfer tape you use ? I bought a kind a week ago and I made some stickers and went to check to make sure they were still going to pull up before selling them and they wouldn’t .. I need help please
I usually use either OraTape mt80p, my go to vendors are Stahls and H&H Sign Supply, both carry it. Hope this helps! ---Becky www.stahls.com/heat-transfer-patterns-mask www.hhsignsupply.com/productcart/pc/12-ORATAPE-MT80P-Application-Tape-By-The-Foot-820p45901.htm
You can find Transfer tape on Amazon. I would recommend playing around with some till you get one that works best for you. Some people even use lint rollers!
Possibly dumb question (and if I missed it in the video somehow forgive me) What can be used to put the decal on for this packaging idea that removes the vinyl brand? Or do you do that? Example, I use Expressions Vinyl, they brand the back of the decal paper, should I just figure out placing a sticker over it or does anyone have a suggest on a non branded option for this? Or am I overthinking it and everyone leaves the vinyl branding when they do it? I hope I make sense
This is so awesome, thank you!!!! I'm curious what shipping method you use? First class is around $4.15 right now and I notice most decals have free shipping, would a regular envelope be too unsafe?
Hi Holly! If you are using a regular envelope I think you would still need something to keep it straight, maybe within a card or thin cardboard? - Dawn
I saw in the comments the link for the instructions on how to apply, But I didn't see on the page if it said what to print that out on, would it just be plain copy paper or better to use card stock or even printable vinyl sticker paper and maybe apply it to the chip board Itself, either under the decal so when they pick it up it's right there, or on the back maybe ? and I am assuming you let the Cutter (Cricut, silhouette, etc) cut them out like if you did a sheet of stickers
Quick tip...flip it over ....put the decal tape side down and keep it flat...peel the backing away rolling it off instead of " pulling it apart ". High or med tack is best for customer applications.
Hello ! I am curious how much you charge for that sticker, it is to get an idea of how much investment and profit you will have packaged as you do. Thank you!
What if i want a temporary window decal like for a holiday or something like that ? And will it work if im placing the decal on the inside and i know ill have to mirror it am i an idiot or would this work ty

Hi, coming in late to the party, haha. Thank you for this, I'm about to go into my own little business selling decals, and this helped me so much!! Do you perhaps have a link or something where I can get the instructions for my customers to stick the vinyls to windows?
Hi Janine! No worries, we are glad you are here 😊 Good luck in your newest business venture! Would something like this work: designbundles.net/svgcuttable/576136-3x-decal-care-cards-instructions-bundle-svg-label-
how far in advance can you made decals like this, I’m working on Christmas items to sell and would be a little frightened that the transfer tape wouldn’t come if I made them six months in advance. have you ever had this problem.
Hey Kate, I haven't left transfer tape on quite that long, but I've had decals that I'm prepped a few months in advance and it has worked fine. Hope this helps! ---Becky
Hi there! The only issue with permanent vinyl on walls is that it may peel the tape during removal. An easy way to prevent this is to heat the vinyl with a blow dryer before you remove it and that will loosen the adhesive.
How do you keep the sticky residue from being left on the top of the decal once it is applied to an object? I have found that the longer the decal is attached to the transfer paper it will leave a residue. Have you had that experience?

After I transfer my design on a product some of the tape residue is left on top of my vinyl design. How do you do the transfer so no residue is left behind?
@@DesignBundles What else could I put my decal on besides the vinyl backing it comes on? I have a blue mermaid tail witch comes with white backing but then the words that I cut to go with it are white. Want to package to sell as one piece for easy application.
