I agree. Been a huge zelda fan since ocarina came out. Got it for Christmas the year it came out from my nan. Think I was 13. I play it at least once a year to this day. To see it created like this is my dream.
This is truly incredible! I can't believe you were able to accomplish this with a full-time job. That's serious dedication and the results are gorgeous.
@@LawfulBased This is based on an already existing IP that a development studio made decades ago.... This remake is incredible looking, but he didn't create from scratch any of this... Where would we be if there were no development studios ever...??? That said, development studios nowadays are greedy and are only going to get worse, so I agree with you in part.
@@ayceodTrue. That’s what sucks, they are capable of creating some of the best projects as we’ve witnessed back in the day, nowadays they lack the creation then once had and it’s all a scheme to make money now by investing in graphics and using big names that became popular at a time we remember, that’s why it’s up to the fans to deliver and satisfy
Hello everyone 🤩 (The music composer speaking🎶🎶) Hope you enjoyed the score 🥁🎶 I waited my entire life to give my touch to Goron City ! You can listen all my content on RU-vid, Spotify, Apple Music and more ! Once again, it’s been a pleasure to serve with this incredible champion aka Rwanlink🔥 I love to work with a guy who’s always in god mode🤟⚔️ Take care everybody Xxx Mosik
Can we talk about the fact that you've transformed one of the easiest boss fights in the game into an epic, make-or-break showdown of magnificent proportions???? That was awesome!
Agreed! We also can see that in this animation what kills King Dodongo is a single bomb in its stomach, but even that is more credible. First, it really makes sense that a bomb in the stomach could kill anything, and there's no way Link's small sword could hurt that thick skin.
I loved the moment when you see Link looking truly frightened. Most of the time you're playing you forget he's just a kid carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders, but the most powerful part of Ocarina is this fact. He has no childhood, only a mission he didn't choose
I’m blown away watching my childhood be reborn like this right before my eyes. You have truly made something special with all this hard work. And I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your passion for such an amazing game. Keep up the awesome work!
In all honesty, just a few moments into this video, I was floored. The fact that you mentioned that you have no prior experience in the industry with no formal education (and relying on your extensive research) just showcases your immense talent and hard work on this. I am absolutely in awe that you were able to pull together such a masterpiece which is a combination of your creativity, dedication, and true artistry. Thank you so much for this work of art! I truly hope that you are able to make this your full time job (if that is what you want, of course) because you sir are amazing at what you do in your free time! Much kudos and keep on rocking at what you do!
I LOVE the little stuff like Goron kids playing in the background, link riding his shield like a sled, him frantically searching for stuff in his inventory and throwing the bomb at the wrong time at first. Stuff like that just adds so much personality and soul! Another masterpiece wonderfully done!!!
This is especially beautiful for people who are currently playing OoT for the first time as an adult. I’m roughly 3/4 of the way through the campaign. Going to play Majora’s Mask after I finish OoT
Wow wow wow. This is one of those examples of the RU-vid algorithm getting it spot on. I can honestly say im blown away, not just your dedication to recreating OOT but the amount of additional detail you've packed in is wild. I honestly mean this but thank you for waking up happy memories of playing this in my younger years. Instant subscribe without hesitation!
I love the addition of the Gorons playing the different instruments.. it makes it feel like its an actual mining city and they play the music to improve production
Pure insanity. I used to fantasize living in this world so much that it hurt when i realized i couldn't. Your passion and effort brought back intense memories. Thank you so much. If we don't get a game remake of this fashion, I'm more than satisfied that we have your gorgeous rendition
Me too bro 🥹I genuinely felt my imaginary friends were the characters in this game. I’m so happy to finally see someone admit they wanted to live in the world of Zelda, too ❤️🔥a fellow man of culture
Did an amazing job recreating the boss battle. When I played this long ago I never quite felt the danger Link went through to face this creature in that environment. You really showed just how dangerous that situation really was and how courageous Link really needed to be to get through that. I especially liked the time he spent behind the rock desperately trying to figure out what to use along with hiding from the fire breath. Oh and nice touch with that shield surfing he did haha.
For the most part it was like watching a movie we never had!!! I felt like my childhood dreams came true and I didn’t want it to go away!! THIS IS PURE PERFECT
Wow!!!! 8:16 such intense emotion captured on one single frame, this is truly a work of art, it puts a whole new perspective on how Link is actually a badass, deserving the title of hero
This is incredible. I work in the games industry and anytime some of your work comes up, I show it to my collegues that are zelda fans and everyone agrees that its brilliant. You should concider a change in career!
If somehow I get to play an updated Ocarina of Time that looks this amazing I can die in peace lol I hope Nintendo looks at your stuff and realize the potential you could bring them.
I second that whole heartedly! It would also be nice to think that some at Nintendo had seen these videos and reached out with a: well done!, at the very least.
Nintendo doesn't have the hardware to run a game looking this way and they propably won't have one anytime in the near future as games are successful anyways. One time N went over the board and created a Gamecube, although much powerful than PS2 (RE4 had dynamic lights and real time rendered cutsecenes) and it didn't sold that well. Next time they released Wii, a console inferior in any way to competitors (480p when standard was 720p) and being called overclocked Gamecube, sold like a charm. They have (sadly) no incentive to enter power race with Sony and MS.
@@sanjyuu2298 they opted to focus on fun vs graphics and for them it worked. I still believe eventually they will take the plunge. Technology can only bring us closer to that day.
@@nobodyknowsforsure You can count for it for granted, the question is, how many generations behind competitors would N be with such a hardware when it will arrive :) The fun thing is that Switch could be much powerfull as is if you would put it's hardware in stationary form factor with proper cooling, at least if what they're saying is true that GPU is underclocked because of mobile design (overclocking RAM also proved latent potential as LoZ:TOTK stopped dropping frames when applied, too bad you can't overclock it without modding).
@@sanjyuu2298 they realized power means nothing compared to the games itself, if the game itself isnt innovative, what is the point of an innovative console? It makes sense, considering theyre working with established IP's, but I think at some point, Nintendo could re-enter the power race, given the fact that there are such powerful handheld pc's nowadays, they'd just have to understand that having everything under Nintendo trademark is just not gonna be possible eventually, developing your own tech takes way too much time. They haven't even caught up to 5g yet, and to me that's embarrassing. If Nintendo started releasing their games on PC, and instead of developing console tech, designed accessories, such as a wii mote for the PC, or etc, I feel like a lot of things like that would help their games sell more, but they'd rather sell a modern priced yet outdated console.
The amount of detail on link's face is amazing. His expressions as well especially when Darunia "pats" his shoulder lol. I also love the sheer size of the Doddongo. It fells more threatening amd that shot of link throwing the bomb into his mouth was my absolute favorite. Voice actually was incredible, moisk's hosue was on fire or something while compositing the music because it was insane. Another great recreation
I never valued just how courageous Link truly is until I watched this video. He is just a kid and you can see he is scared and somehow manages to put himself back together to fight a freaking giant dragon! Great work!
Every aspect of this interpretation deserves praise but the sound design literally brought tears to my eyes when that heart container showed up. I’m still bawling. You have more than captured the emotional intensity of the original-you have improved upon it.
12:20 omg I love this detail: “I should inform the Zora King about the situation” // 4:23 seeing Gannondorf like this with the context is so cool. I like how it zooms into his back. Also like how Darunia is giving him the no no hand gesture// God damn it took me so long to hit that one rolling Goron with a bomb 💣 a month ago
Je rêve d'un Zelda ocarina of time de cette qualité graphique etc.. votre travail est juste fou, félicitations. J'ai même pas les mots pr être honnête tellement c'est beau et ça fait rêver.
Man, we're gonna have a genuine Legend of Zelda movie at this rate, this is so gorgeous. 6:20 HAHAHA, a shield sled! I never expected that! XD That animation of Darunia slapping Link!
This is the most wonderful thing that I have seen! I grew up playing this game and it was such a massive part of my childhood, playing with my cousins and friends..... To see it recreated like this so perfectly... and I truly mean that with every ounce of my being.. This is a PERFECT reimagining and elaboration of the original idea and you hit this not only out of the park, but you cleared the damn stratosphere with this piece. My hat off to you, and my deepest thanks for your work 💔
Incredible work again! The boss fight had the right mix of humour and danger (loved the shield sled) and you turned Goron City from one of the most empty parts of the game to a bustling community without it feeling forced or changed.
Your animations are truly magical. I was especially impressed how awesomely well you captured the boss fight with Dodonga. In the original game, he really is a joke, hard to take seriously. In this video, he seems frightening and dangerous. Amazing job!
I know that it's the way things are going now, but I miss the dialog being text only and only a hint of vocal tones. I would say the absence of voices is a major part of the nostalgia that surrounds this game.
Holy Nayru!! Do you even know what you just did?? This is incredible, someone please give this guy money to make a feature film or maybe thirteen. Kudos also to the amazing voice actors, that truly took the video to the next level, plus the music composer, sound engineer, everyone involved. You're all amazing people!! ❤❤❤
Sir, the amount of effort you put in this shows how much you love doing it and the result is beyond outstanding. I wish you can make it your main job. You were able to give OOT new life and that's incredible for a 90s kid like me. You got a lot of stuff, for real. 🤜🤛
AMAZING! I should say "congratulations" but I also have to say "thank you". As a fan I love this type of work, it's as if I were transported, it's nostalgic
This is absolutely incredible! It feels more cinematic when Link confronts the enormous King Dodongo. I can't describe how much hard work and passion you have to make this masterpiece.
Jesus dude! This...THIS is absolutely unbelievable! You gave everything such detail, such character. It truly brings the game to life. Link looks like a child but with incredible determination. Your imagination with the details, like dust and ash accumulating on his face during the fight. Just amazing!
Wow! That was spectacular! Totally HD 4k and crisp! Music is mind blowingly perfect. I would like to see a longer boss fight. One bomb in the mouth seems like not enough damage to destroy such a large dragon 🐺👍🏻⚡️
i guess something is wrong about the physics, like Gorons mooves are not like rock percutive, and providing kinda earthquake feels. Like for exemple when king Darunia dance. Instead they looks like marshmallows and it feels realy weird. But all the else is so ... WHOAOOOOOOOOO o.o Amaaaaaaaaaaaaazing dude *0 I especialy felt the distress of link on the boss fight, and even globals link's emotions were so incredibles. i'm fascinate by your work, it's just ... it's just... whaoooooooooooo
Hey, wait! He learned to do this while juggling a full-time job? I'm never saying I don't have time to improve my art again. Everything here was incredible and worth the wait. Sounds, lighting, movement, all of it. Mosic's compositions are a delight to listen to. I'm not too familiar with Ocarina of Time, but the music here makes me feel nostalgic about it. The voice actors did great too. Darunia was super convincing. Great job to all who worked on this beautiful project. And I hope you all get to continue doing what you love.
Yeah when I saw that part I was amazed. Have some 3d projects ive been working on but havent gotten much progress on them in a year. While RwanLink pumps a whole world and movie out in 4 months :D absolutely amazing
I can't even begin to understand how much time, effort, work, and dedication this must've required to accomplish. This is truly a major accomplishment and I hope that you feel proud of the outcome! Thank you so much for sharing your work with us!
Hey Rwan, My names MitchManix, I create RPG content. I wanted to say your UE5 Zelda videos are incredible and wanted to know if it would be ok for me to use a screengrab from one of your videos for a thumbnail for a possible OOT video for my channel? I would of course credit you fully for its use. Please let me know mate. Cheers.
This is so awesome. You really captured what it feels like to be a whole ass KID epically saving the world. I love that you even have his “inventory” behind a rock right outside the boss. Awesome details! What a great storyteller! Thank you for unlocking so much potential for everyone!
Wow! This is one of the best oot unreal engine remakes I've ever seen! Link looks like a real person almost. He's absolutely adorable. And the quality on this is just unreal. Hence, unreal engine, haha. They need to do a remake of pot with amazing quality like this. It would be mind-blowing.
YOO! This literally brought tears to my eyes and I just couldn't hold them back. there's no words to describe how beautiful of a recreation this is. I felt like I was watching a full blown movie and Ii didn't want it to end!! INCREDIBLE WORK!!! I liked & subbed. You are fkin amazing
Another awesome masterpiece! The battle with King Dodongo was epic to say the least. I really liked that Link got dirt all over him and that he suffered some wounds. Fighting enemies is hard work after all. ;D You improved tremendously from last time! It's very inspiring. Do you already have a new project? Or do you plan on transforming other entries in the series, too? Please keep up the good work!!
Thank you for your comment I really appreciate it! Yes I started something already but I'm still trying to figure out what I want to do exactly for the next one 🙂
This is so impressive and inspiring. I find the characterisation of Link particularly touching; a youngster who has seen and been through way too much for his age. The environments and animations are fantastic. The editing is compelling. Thank you for making this!
Is this for sale? I want to buy. I don't like the direction Nintendo is going with Zelda games. It doesn't feel traditional anymore and it should always remain traditional.
I have no words. This is just gorgeous. You have done an amazing job to detail and the environment you created... just wow. Every video you produce just shows the progress your making and... I won't lie, even writing this I can't express the amount of awe I have. This is really an inspiring video for both zelda fans and people who wish to put work into making their dreams come true. Thank you for making another master piece! I cannot wait to see more of your work!
This is EPIC. Five months of hard work for a man alone and this can be accomplished. That's Why we shouldn't accept anything less than excellent from big game developers.
Man, I can't emphasize enough how brilliant this is. Not just technically but in terms of art and storytelling. This is better than the original game in many ways!
Only thing imma say (this looks damn awesome).I'm a bit of a zora simp. After seeing those rtx ones i think i'm gonna be put off my simping for a good 3 days. But in all honesty, this all looks crazy cool. The fact the gorons aren't very scary baffles me tho.
This is FAR FAR beyond CryzenX's (or whatever his handle is) remake. *Edit: Not really a fan of the movie and voiceovers, but I'd kill to play this as a faithful remake of the game.
For an amateur animator, director, producer, or whatever all you put into this, you deserve the placement of making any future zelda movie or show they come out with.
Oh my god that was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in my entire life! You are a master artist! I happen to be playing Zelda tears of the Kingdom right now, and I took a break and looked down and your video showed up like a gift from heaven! Thank you so much for creating this. It was so amazing. I was getting goosebumps and a huge, dopamine rush. I could not look away. It was just amazing. I hope you get millions of subscribers because you deserve it and I am now a subscriber. Thank you again I hope to see more.
im not even halfway interested in most of the new games these days (on any system). had a lot of fun with BOTW (always craved classic zelda play style tho), tried out TOTK and dont mind that I no longer have access to it. More interested in the classic games i grew up with, especially OOT. No video game experience brings me more joy than blowing the dust of my n64 cartridge, turning the system on, and hearing the combo of the horse gallop with the intro piano. What you're doing is what I wish would happen with all the classic games I grew up with. Always look forward to your new creations. Thanks for puttin in this awesome work.
This is how Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom should have looked. Why use technology that is capable of photo-real graphics, then lens-flare and cell-shade it into oblivion: such that it looks like a low budget 1970's anime?!
@RwanLink you are a hero! Thank you soooo much for your Videos ♡! Your work is great ,thank you verry much for sharring and greetings from munich germany🙏 Ps: please keep doing your vids ..the cure Depression Thank you
What I love most is how you replaced The innocent looking character model of Link, and replaced it with a kid who genuinely looks like he has to grow up fast. His Courage is Visibly being tested which is what Link's Journey is all about. He Looks like his aging has actually accelerated and looks like a mini badass adult.... Can't wait to see what a grizzled full grown adult link looks like, after all his experiences and horrors. Taking the Corruption of Hyrule, and keeping it within himself
Omg you are so talented!! You also seem very passionate about it. I would make a living from it if I had your skills... I mean woww masterpiece I got goosebumps watching it. The details, the music, the way link touch the heart.. I am amazed and this bright my day
I am in LOVE with this! This was obviously not easy to do! You are an amazing animation! VERY beautiful visuals, voice acting, music! If you make more, i would love to see it! I thought the scene when link touched the heart peace and it healed him was so cool and fantasy-like! Reminded me of LotR and was magical! ❤ This is how OoT should be, i love the adventure, life, and energy you bring into the zelda world! Its like a dream come true!
This makes it feel like a live action animated series. Fantastic work! I really loved Link looking for what tool to use, and the nice touches you put on the animation during the healing sequence. The music is amazing!! Nintendo needs to hire you!
