I know this video is 4 years old but for people that still watch this now: You don’t need to sell the corn or wheat for a low price, as long as you put it in the newspaper someone will buy it because they need it, and won’t look at the price, so just put it up as expensive as you want

How to get rich in hay day to prepare for the higher level items and stuff, 1. Buy tons of wheat 10 wheat = 1 coin 2. Sell them for 20 coins = 10 wheat 3. Profit 4. Repeat

I sell my wheat for 30 gold and have made enough gold to buy the items I missed like extra animals, trees, and recently opened the Train Station/Town in a day. Then worked on the icecream maker. In recent months , it has been easy for me to see the farmer who sells 10 corns at once for $1 Then I sell corns at their max price and $71 profits are made.
That's effective but not when you are an Asian and got 17 hours busy schedule like me. What I do is plant Indigo and cook all boat items then return for 5 mins after every 1 hour for a break and they are sold. I charge maximum amount and it still works haha.
Yeah you can sell it at any price you want! Sometimes I also sell it for 5 coins instead of 1 per 10 wheat. But sometimes I feel it takes too long if I sell it for 36 coins :p
I thought it was every 68 fields harvested you will get an upgrade. I make alot of fabric and cotton and clothes and I use the fabric and cottom to make alot of clothes and I sell them full price and it builds up my money fast. I like making the purple sweaters with a sunflower on it cause it does not take as long to make as some things and it brings in a good price if you sell 10 full price. And it sales fast. Atleast it does for me. And I make alot of cakes and pies to tell as well. And sometimes I sell sandwiches when I have alot extra.
If you want money you can grow wheat wait and whit the wear make bread and plant again the wheat that’s over you sell this will make it faster too get alot of coins and sell the bread you earn for max hope this helps ❤
I made a quick calculation, it's about 3 hours. But it depends on the items you receive. This is random so it will not be 100% acurate. Also you have to sell every item you receive to max the profits. Hope i've helped you! ;)

I just put them in for 36, put them in the newspaper and they all sell so I basically make 36 coins when you make 1, or 3,600,000 when you make 100‘000

Uh but you make 0.1 coin per wheat so... you can harvest 5 times each 10 minutes and you have 78 land so that makes 390 wheat per 10 minutes times 0.1 = 39 coins each 10 minutes
