Cheap and long lasting smoker fuel for your bee smoker.
While working my bees, I used to use pine needles or dead leaves or grass. These fuels tend to burn out fairly quickly and my smoker was always going out at the worst time.
While in Tractor Supply, I found this $6.00 bag of Pine pellets. I start the smoker using wadded up paper, pine needles, or dead leaves, but then I fill the smoker with these pine pellets. This keeps the smoker going for a long time. So far I haven't had an issue with it going out on me, even when driving from one bee yard to another.
Here's a couple links that may keep this operation going:
Mann Lake Pro Smoker - amzn.to/3s3qKT0
Pine Pellets from Amazon - amzn.to/3CBRNcM
It's more expensive than tractor supply, but will still last a long time.
