Hey Party People! NOTE: I decided to mix up 7 FREE and 3 PRO themes in this video. ( So this video includes a few PRO themes but mostly free themes) I forgot to mention that some Wordpress themes were pro. There are 3 PRO themes and 7 FREE Wordpress Themes but somehow I forgot to mention it in the video, it looks like my editor might’ve cut that out. I'm a total noob but will check out your elementor tutorial and get brizy to experiment. I definitely think having access to hundreds of templates would confuse me at the beginning. Hopefully I'll finish a simple website and in a few months try my hand with templates using another wordpress theme.

Good vid! And here is my "angry" bricks fan comment. :) You right, Bricks is not biginner friendly. IMO its for webdiseners who tired of slopy BIG gamers in the field like Elementor or Divi. Its a very good alternative. You made the right choice to put it in the honorable mentions.

In most cases Wordpress updates don’t destroy themes or websites. The most common problem is plugin updates that can conflict with the theme

Last time I checked about 6 months ago, the Essentials theme only allowed you to have 2 fonts in use at any one time (e.g. one for headings and one for paragraphs). And that's it. They tried to justify this on "good design" grounds, but it's fundamentally limiting. It's them imposing their philosophy instead of allowing the customer to have flexibility. Worse than that, there were parts of the header, as I recall, where you could not customize the font. Very frustrating.

@@darrelwilson I would like to find a clean theme where pro and free features are separated. or a free theme that is completely free. with no paid plan. Also when installing a theme, it was 'neve' theme, I have to install some plugin that are in their own ecosystem if I am correct. So to sum up, my complain, I never know if I have a useful theme or a trap to a company ecosystem with their own builder/framework meaning also that I may not be learning to use wordpress the right way by using their theme.
