@Afifa, the iron has an indicator on the back next to the power on system that says Calc'n Clean, the system is smart and when it starts blinking you'll have to turn that sinuous knob and just run it through water to remove impurities, put again, turn the iron back on and click Calc'n Clean for the iron to clean.
