1). Thanks for the education, I was born in mainland China Wuhan in the yr. of 1948 and grew up in Taiwan. 2). At the age of 27 came to the USA and right now at age 74. 3). In my childhood I already like singing, from Elementary school, junior high, and high school always the music teacher can follow my voice and found me in the classroom. 4). Until Univ.: went to Shieh-Chine Univ. joined the choir group and got fulfilled; every 2 yrs. we traveled around Taiwan giving free concerts and went to 15 cities. Right now Shieh-Chien has a "music" major. 5). After arriving in the USA, once the job and living place settle I will check any choir group in the local areas, I had to be with "Harmoney", "Ching Ching" also a pianist/Wei-Huang Chang her Ph.D. term paper the subject was: "How the choir group builds up in the Bay area", she interviews me I just told her all I knew. Also in that decade, China sent 500 professionals to the USA, and these choir group members will take private lessons from them. 6). But in your concert what you sing and what we sing have a big difference, and I am so glad China keep this major so well and created so much excellency in this field.
