Hey everyone! We've finally made it to the end of lesson 12 for the Genki 1 videos! I will be releasing earlier grammar points individually to fit the new style after this (to then release a Complete Genki 1 video) and then its 100% working on N3 grammar videos! Sorry for the wait guys! But it'll be great to have this done and then we can finally get that first big project done! Lots, lots LOTS more videos coming on everything JLPT Grammar/Kanji (also very soon I'll start recording the next vocab episode! ...and maybe even another bonus one too 😉 ) Hope you enjoy!

Big fan of your channel. Have any travel/tour content planned for the future? Would be cool to see you speak to ひとびと out in the wild.

You should do a community post reminding people about your videos the day after you post them. Community posts bump you in the algorithm, significantly, and get people's attention. Especially since you're posting videos every other day, a post will tell the algorithm you are actively interacting with viewers /every/ day. It'll also keep the 'new video' momentum going longer. People might not have noticed or been free to watch it when first posted, so reminding them helps. A large portion of videos I watch from who I subscribe to I end up clicking on through community, simply because those posts stand out in the monotony of my sub box. You really need a bump. You're channel is one of the best, if not the best, place for nerds to learn Japanese- and the Japanese they want to learn. A lot of people would be helped if you showed up in their recommendations.

@@GameGengo something else I've seen other educational channels doing lately is posting little quizzes. So you can do a poll post like "what is an appropriate way to ues "でしょうか" ? Just make sure you throw in one goofy trick answer, to make people chuckle and want to comment, it'll also avoid the accusation that you're spamming or pestering- those comments are extremely rare, and barely anyone would think it, but a single negative comment like that can kill a creator's drive. There's legit research on it, and even people as big as Philip Defranco have said it happens to them, too. I'm dead serious on you being the best. Every article and reddit thread I found when I was trying to find ways to learn Japanese through video games had you mentioned, a couple at at #1. I have no idea how you aren't more popular. I do know it was actually kinda hard to get RU-vid to show me your channel when searching specifically for you. That was very odd to me. I should have commented this on a video sooner, lol. Just didn't think about it.

Even with grammar I understood immediately like this you still manage to cover something I didn't knew / added to the concept. Thanks for that! :)

Does anyone know where I can read manga like Dragon Ball etc. Fully In Japanese for free? Thought it would be a nice way of some extra immersion, especially because DB for example has furigana. Thanks in advance!
