シティポップが生まれるより遥か前、アメリカのビルボードでNo.1になった｢上を向いて歩こう」は名曲中の名曲！ その後、有名な海外アーティストにカバーされ、何度もヒットチャート入りしてるんでしょう？ 日本の楽曲では今後もあまり考えられない事だと思います。 (メロディの良さが決め手ってのは確かに)

坂本九さんは、人柄も素晴らしかったですね。米国の知人で、歌詞の意味はわからないが「竹田の子守唄」のメロディーが美しいと言う人もいます。

日本のテレビ、ラジオ局は、何故かK-POPを異常に宣伝するのです。異常事態だと思います。

『上を向いて歩こう』の歌詞では「独りぼっちの夜」が「二人ですき焼き食べたい」と英語で歌われて、永六輔氏はがっかりしたと言って日本語で歌っていました。私は、坂本九さんとＲＣサクセションのどちらのバージョンも大好きです。クリスさんありがとう。😊😊
