As many have said, your channel is criminally underrated. The amount of effort you put into every video is insane, and they have all been such a huge help to me. Please never stop doing what you're doing

Man I have basically stopped reading the Genki book and just do the workbook because your videos are sooo much better at explaining things.

I do the same. I go here for the grammar explanation. I don't even read the grammar explanation on Genki anymore because it's too wordy and it makes things complicated. Here it's straightforward + samples are all from Japanese media! I can't go back to Genki's explanations anymore. Game Gengo ruined that for me. This is just too good.

thank you!! i’m learning n5 rn and this question just popped up for me. 何か書くものをお持ちですか i thought “もの” was “something” but it’s “何か”

Thanks for the video! I think it would be very helpful to have furigana for the kanji so we can more easily get a feel for kanji readings! Or was this a deliberate decision, similar to not including romaji?

I like that you're splitting the videos up by grammar points! I have a small japanese study group, and this way I can always post the correct video for the current grammar point into our chat

@@sergiodevivo16you did really well! A more natural way to say it in Japanese would be ゲーム言語ちゃんのこと、大好きよ!or even just ゲーム言語大好き!is also okay! :) 愛してる is a very heavy word for like lovers/couples/family haha

do you have anything that covers the super humble speak some characters speak in stuff like ff16 and bravely default?
@GameGengo
@GameGengo Год назад
I have some vocab series episodes that covers a lot of that speech, things like my Animal Crossing, Fire Emblem, Triangle Strategy, Final Fantasy 16 vocab videos for example. But I haven't done a video on humble speech yet. I 100% WILL be getting round to it eventually though!

So i have something called misophonia and the like tongue clicky poppy sounds were killing me this video :(. otherwise great stuff, I think a pop filter on the mic will help or a glass of water before recording or both. Id hate to have to stop listening to the channel over a trivial little thing, you provide some of the best content out there.
@GameGengo
@GameGengo 11 месяцев назад
Ah sorry about that! I am actually looking into buying a new mic setup for several reasons and I'll keep that in mind when recording! I try to cut all that stuff out but I'll make even more sure now knowing its an issue :)
