Freedom, liberty, democracy? I am from Malaysia and all these are available in Malaysia and of course I am given the right every 5 years to cast my vote for a candidate to represent my constituency. But none of the candidates on the ballot paper is of my choice or to my mind capable of doing anything right. And this is the scenario faced by the voters in probably most of the democratic countries. So that's democracy if you still fancy dreaming of it. And finally what I can tell you is if you dont have money, all the so called freedom, liberty and democracy are just illusive. And worst still, you are choosing a White country to settle down. Racism is real there. You make the choice but your daughter didnt. And when things get wrong which is highly probably she will suffer the most. Anyway good luck.
There should be a large Swedish expat community in Spain. I met a Swede who complained bitterly about high taxes in his country. He spends over six months in Spain to avoid high residence taxes in Sweden.
Yes, Western countries have development in the past 40 years, but not as fast as the development of China. Especially the infrastructure, Western countries are lagging behind China by many years.
