A random POV that I came up with: enjoy!!!! Xiao has always been seen as one of the more sane people in the whole of Liyue. An angel, if you must. Dispatched by the Morax to fight off the demonic spirits that haunted Liyue. You? Well, you were practically his therapist. More or less just a bartender at the infamous Xinyue Kiosk restaurant. If people got drunk enough they told you all their secrets. Most of those secrets come from Mister Xiao’s mouth himself. You thought everyone heard of the stories of how this seemingly sane angel roams around the harbor killing off any warding spirits and how he himself struggles to define his justice with creatures. But, it seems as though you were the only one that knew about Xiao’s struggles. Today was no different, Xiao came in on a wandering Wednesday, his normal outfit. He stumbled in, your first thought running through your head, “He’s already drunk?” You asked yourself as he walked towards you. You had just served some customers and had a small glass in hand as your head turned towards Xiao, as did everyone else in the restaurant. “Mmh~” He muffled something, though it was inaudible due to your distance. With your professionalism, you answer him. “Welcome to Xinyue Kiosk, sir Xiao.” You bow your head slightly. As your head went up, he finally reached you, his eyes drooped. “Can you talk?” He suddenly asked. Your eyes widened, this was unexpected. You weren’t friends or anything. Just strangers that knew each other’s secrets. “Sure?” You say hesitantly before following him outside to the cold night. He looks at you as he sighs. “I don’t think I’ll be able to fight these spirits anymore…” He placed his arm over his face, looking up. He seemed to be distraught. “Killing those spirits feels like I’m killing a soul. Someone that’s meant to live longer… I can’t tell the difference anymore” His voice cracked, he seemed more serious. “Xiao, you know they are not real people. You are the only protector of Liyue right now” You say as your eyes can’t help but scan his body as he covers his eyes with his own arm. He looks back down at you as his head tilts to the side, his aquamarine hair following him. “It’s too late,” He said before he smiled. “I want to give up on this life entirely and go to a normal one…” He then paused for a moment. “The connection between us… it’s too strong.” You could practically hear him mutter. “I want to leave it all for *you*” You felt butterflies in your stomach as he said this. No, no… you heard him wrong. Connection!? I mean, you felt it too every time he walked into the restaurant your heart skipped a beat and you sweat a little more but this man must be drunk… right? “Hm…” He closed his eyes, his hair swishing in the wind. “But… I can’t be so selfish. This eternal dance of demon subjugation… my fight must go on” His words sounded as if you were reading a poem, but it spoke to you. “But… I would like to know more about you” His eyes reopened as he looked down at you. A rush of butterflies entering your stomach once again as the wind made sure to cool you down before you panicked. After a few minutes, Xiao comes back to you with brand new clothes. He hands them to you and they're soft and warm. But, you don't recognize these clothes. You then ask him that. "Are you sure these clothes are mine? I've never seen them, nor wore them.." He looks at you and gives you a warm slight chuckle, then turnibg into an affectionate smile. "I bought them for you while you were gone. I thought you would like them, and i thought they are perfect for the cold winter lately.." His explanation is heart warming. Your gaze softens from the bitter tireness you had. You can't believe he would do that for you.. "In truth.. I also thought they would look.. cute.. on you.." His tone is so moving you melt in place. "I- uhmm..". His flusterness is stirring your heart so much it warms you. "You didn't need to do this for me.. really." "Yes, I understand that.. But.. I just felt the need to.. After all the things you've done for me, I just couldn't not do something in return.." His words are chanting. His tone is deep yet soft. You just want to kiss him! Though... You've always wanted to kiss him. It's something about Xiao that.. Makes you feel calmer, warmer.. You go up to him and.. You thank him. Holding his hands. His hands are soft as snow, yet reminds you how tough they can be. "Oh.. you're welcome.." he smiles again. You then go to your bedroom and change. You come out comfy as a cloud. "Oh my.. This is so warm and comfy! Thank you so much Xiao!" You smile brightly at him, showing your happiness. "I'm glad.." His gaze is gentle, clearly focused on your happiness. It makes you even happier that he cares about you, just as much as you care about him. An hour later he catches you sleeping on the couch. He gently picks you up, making sure not to wake you up. His bodyheat warm you even more, and you start to cuddle up to him a little as he carries you. He lays you down on his bed, and not yours since yours is farther away and he's scared he will wake you up. As he lays you on the bed he goes to take a shower. You wake up and hear the shower running. You realize you're in his room. His bed smells just like him. You decide to just read a book while you're there. You pick up one of your favorite books. While reading you're so into the story you don't notice the shower stop. When he come out, light from the bathroom brings you back and you look up just to see him shirtless with only a towel around his waist that he's holding. Your eyes go wide open and you start blushing, then coveribg your sight with the book. You then hear him talk "I-I'm sorry, I forgot you're here.. I-ll change in there.." He goes in the bathroom closing the door. You can't believe what you just saw. You got the opportunity to see him shirtless, you got to see his fit body you always wanted to see. You keep thinking about him so much you get hotter and hotter. You then try to calm yourself, telling yourself how you and Xiao will never have anything more than being 'roommates'.. But you could hear a bit of sadness laced in his voice. It was as if he wanted you close to him, but he didn't want to accidentally hurt you. "Why? Because of your karmic debt..?" You ask him. Xiao slowly nods in response. You smile and shrug, huffing out of your nose. You quickly wrap your arms around Xiao's waist and pull him into a hug. Xiao freezes in place, stiff as a board. But slowly and hesitantly, you could feel him slowly wrap his arms around you. You smile again and give him a squeeze, not wanting to let him go. It seemed that he didn't want to let you go either. You smile into the kiss when Xiao awkwardly returns it, your heart doing backflips in your chest. Sparks flew as you two kissed passionately. His performance was a bit sloppy, considering that he was new to this romance thing. But that didn't matter or stop you from showing him just how much you loved him in that moment. After what seemed like forever, the both of you pulled away for air. A light blush was on Xiao's cheeks, painting them a nice shade of pink. You giggled under your breath as the two of you caught your breath. In an attempt to hide his flustered face, Xiao picked you up and teleported into his room in the Inn, keeping you gently against the wall. He nuzzled his face in the crook of your neck. You could feel and hear his heart racing and pounding out of his chest. "M-my apologies..." Xiao spoke nervously. "I could not help myself..." You giggled again, stroking your fingers through his hair. You kiss his head. "No need to be sorry...and Xiao...?" Xiao moved his head away from your neck and looked into your eyes. He had calmed down just a little. "Y-yes...?" His eyes searched yours. "I'm glad I bring you peace of mind... all I want is for you to be happy..." Xiao smiles and his eyes soften. He places a hand on your cheek and caresses it. "If it's all the same to you, I also wish to bring you happiness..." "You do." You reply, rubbing noses with his. Xiao blushes again. "Good...You mean the world to me." "And you mean the same to me, Xiao..." "I...can truly be myself around you..." "Really? Even though sometimes I can be a menace or overbearing...?" Xiao chuckles. "Yes, Y/N...but you're not overbearing.." "I love you-..." Once those words came from your mouth, Xiao's eyes widened. His heart began to race again as he looked into your eyes. Suddenly and swiftly, he kissed you. You were left in shock at the sudden action, but then return the kiss. You smile as you played with his hair. I was here too early for POV’s so I’m making my own to share with others :) (This is my first POV so please don’t judge me 😅) You and Xiao always had a complicated relationship, one day he wouldn’t leave your side, and then the next he would act like he’s never met you in his life. He had always told you to call his name whenever you were in trouble but it seemed the tables had turned on a particular night. Xiao had sent you a letter, asking for you to visit him at Wangshu Inn, making it sound more urgent then it probably was. Arriving at Wangshu Inn you went onto the balcony you normally found him on, looking at the sun as it slowly set before feeling a pair of arms wrap around you from behind and a head resting on the your back, you turned your head only to find Xiao clinging onto you. “Xiao…?” Before you could say anymore he dragged you into a more private area, resting his head on your shoulder before his hands roamed you. It was weird, not that he was being clingy but that he didn’t say a word to you yet. That was until you heard a faint whisper of your name from his mouth as another sentence followed. “Don’t go…” Xiao whispered as he moved his head from your shoulder to your ear then directly in front of your face. This clingy nature was new, he wasn’t as distant or uncomfortable in touching you or keeping you so close. Suddenly, he connected your lips to his, making you gasp for a moment. Pov. Spicy content ahead yall. Here's holy water 🧴 Xiao was your childhood best friend, you two would always spend time together and you both were inseparable. It's like your lives have already been composed centuries ago. When you two were still kids, you've never seen him differently. You've always seen him as your precious best friend that you cherish. He was always there for you, whenever you were sad or having a hard time he would buy you your favourite snacks and drinks. Sometimes, he would even bring you to a lake during sunset to marvel at the scenery and spend some cosy time with each other. However, as time passed by and you two grew more into adults your feelings have changed towards him. You thought you'd still see him as a friend but you were mistaken. Your heart had other plans. It has been years now that you have been living with him as his roommate. When you were little he had promised you that he would work hard and buy a house so that you could live with him. He kept his promise, he always did. You were in your room, the shower was running down the hallway indicating that he was in the bathroom. You remain on your bed, a book in your hands as you read. You loved reading, it helped you when you were stressed out or when you were trying to distract yourself from the feelings you had for him. However, the book that you were reading contained plenty of spicy content yet you loved reading them. As you kept reading, you flipped the pages and on that next page, it was full of sex scenes. Your eyes widen and so did your smile as you giggle to yourself as you read. While reading the sex scenes your mind created images of you and Xiao in place of the two characters that were having sex. You felt so warm, your body temperature was rising and you felt your heartbeat rise as you kept reading. His hair was wet from the shower, his well-built body and abs were on full display, and water droplets could even be seen streaming down his abs and falling onto his thighs. His eyes scanned your body on the bed as he leaned more against the doorway, his smirk never leaving his complexion. You were breathing heavily as you flipped the pages and kept reading, the loud noise of your breathing could be heard in the room and this only made Xiao raise an eyebrow as he could already tell what you were reading. By the cover of the book, he could already tell this book was a rollercoaster of emotions. He was not dumb, he had a secret too, a secret that he had kept confidential for years from you. That book you were reading, he already read the whole series. He knew that book by heart, he had read that book so many times that he became attached to that book. Now seeing you reading it only made him eager since he already knew the part you were reading. He threw the towel gently on your white desk, he didn't care if it was wet or dampening your desk. Your heroic role in Liyue is used in the middle of the night, killing demons and saving others.” He shakes his head, “Its not enough. I…I still have to pay for my sins.” “Xiao, please, what’s in the past stays there.” You hold his weak shoulders as his hair covers his eyes. “Don’t let you traumatic past hide your true form. Those things you may have said to me or about me doesn’t matter. What’s better is that I build a friendship with you, and if you need to find your happiness, I’ll be sure to help.” You wrap your arms around his, as he slightly loses balance. “So please, just let go. Let go and be free…” the lump of pain from holding his tears was hard to hold in like he was gonna throw up. He quietly lets it out in your arms while hugging you back. A Xiao lantern appears out of the black water below you two, it caught both of your attention as you break the hug. You stand up as you hold it, handing over to him. Xiao shakes his head again. “Together this time.” His hand barely holds one side, and yours with the other. “Ready?” You nodded. You and Xiao gently raise the Xiao lantern in the dark void, but it still floats in the air like it should. The the place had suddenly turned into the entrance of Liyue, where the rest of the lanterns shine near the dark sky and it made you two smile.
