When you upgrade the energy of the Shining Laser at the max level, it will be unlimited.

In general, the 3 strongest weapons are: Blade Arm (short range), Crusher (middle range) and Shining Laser (long range). I've tested these 3 weapons against all the bosses. Some bosses are more effective with the Blade or the Crusher, but the Laser is the only secondary weapon among these 3, capable of defeat all the bosses. For example, The Bonne train boss ( 13:19 ), is impossible to defeat with the Blade Arm. That's why the Laser is considered the strongest.
