I mean, for a $15 or $20 haircut, yeah. You wouldn't have a hard time finding a haircut about two thirds as good for the $40 it cost, or about the same for about $60 or so. I occasionally get my nails done and a manicure with almost the exact same extras (lotion, aroma therapy, arm and hand massage, cheap but yummy frozen vodka drink) for $65, give or take $5
just need to go to a salon and pay for some luxury package in stead of going to a barber. Or go to Sports Clips for basically the same thing, but also still more a barber than a salon
Looks an amazing experience! It must be hard on the barber with the wash basin so low, especially during the scalp and facial massages. First time I've seen a barber wearing a full suit!
Very high tech,like how the sink is mobile and high quality environment. Very professional barber who dresses more like a company CEO ! But I am not surprised as I visited Japan many times when I worked in Asia and everything is done to a very high standard.Arigatogozaimas.
There is a lot to love from Japan, but like every other culture, they also have their own social issues... A lot of mental health and social pressure issues in Japan
Okay Japan. Coming through with the quality ASMR. Looks like we're getting pampered in The White House or some high security location but I appreciate the content and the barber has a way of moving his hands that makes me think of a composer. Keep up the hard work.
This made me laugh so much, the number of times you almost doze off ahahah. I was like "Oh yeah I know that feeling, it would've happened with me too." Haircut are so relaxing.
That sink setup is really cool, I have never seen a hair sink that moves around on a track attached to the floor. That chair looks amazingly comfortable and relaxing.
Barber is fantastic. The rest is poor. Shakey camera, subject looking at his watch and texting, seeing the camera person in the shot takes me right out of the experience. Editing is choppy and rough. Choose better angles. Perhaps you could learn from other ASMR barber videos, on how to do this so it's more relaxing for the viewer. Need to plan these better.
My fussiness is sparked by concern about the barber wearing a suit during all of this (don't the cuffs get all wet?) but aside from my personal quirk, this gave me wonderful second-hand scalp tingles.

Get a body camera that the barber wears and it films every snip up close and misses nothing. You can see how a body camera works at other youtube barber pages. The camera work here is VERY poor and often we don't get to see up close the hair being cut. We often see the hair being cut here from a distance and this is no use.
Dude, you don't need to fiddle with mic as much as you are. Leave the damn thing alone and fix the levels in post. It's much easier to edit with a static mic position.
This was quite relaxing however I found the cameramen a bit distracting. I imagine one person could have shot this whole thing. The head massage was my favorite part, and I kept dozing off, but the water splashing part kept waking me up. Ha ha
