I used to love this song back in high school lol. Love me dead was their hit but I always felt this song was way more interesting. To me I've always perceived the different verses to be cycling through different romanticized genres of horror. Verse 1 was a murderous stalker ... potentially also werewolf or a cannibal. Verse 2 was a vampire/immortal. Verse 3 was a ghost or a siren, interacting with those who died at sea or perhaps even luring them to their demise.

Jayn. Yandere. Jayndere.

+LittleJayneyCakes I know you probably never see this. But hearing this from a female’s “perspective” is interesting. Andrew Volpe’s original is a insane mix of glee, arousal and batshit insanity. While this is more.. passionate. Definitely not Yandere. Not really a Dere type either. But the horrific imagery paired with the soft feminine vocals is a stark and beautiful contrast. I have to see if you’ve done more by Ludo. If not. May I recommend Broken Bride? It’s an hour long EP turned into a musical. I’d love to hear it from a woman’s perspective. Much love Jayne.

This song has such a dark meaning but super calming

I hate how people come into these songs and already say they're good for Yandere simulator....did you even take a moment to analyze this Yandere and compare her with Yan-chan....yeah, they're nothing alike. NOT EVERY Yandere song fits in Yandere simulator, and this is one of those that doesn't, the same goes for Smoke and Mirrors •-• Seriously, a Yandere is not just a murderer that has a crush, they're still human and can STILL have different personalities, just plz, plz stahp .___.

Damn, those words... even though the song is about horror in fiction, I feel like it connects a lot with the real horror you live through when you're depressed (maybe also applies to other destructive mental illnesses as well). It's like it unifies the two voices, depression's and yours'. The first part being how many people have died (figuratively and literally) because of depression, and how oftentimes you find yourself in a relation of dependency with it, that status of "I love it even if it hurts" or like "I love being hurt" that you don't even notice at first, but you start to crave the feeling... and then you find yourself in an endless cycle of destruction, wanting everything to just stop, and depression says "I'm here for you, darling" as it brutally murders you on the inside... Idk, was an interesting thought, the reflection with the monsters of reality... Thanks for the song, it meant a lot feeling identified with the ghosts of a past that still reflects in the present, it's a good way to realizing you gotta step back from some things that aim to hurt you... at least you feel a bit more prepared ^^
