This song played the last 2 episodes of season 1, from what I looked up, there was a 4 month gap between episodes 23 and 24. I was fine with the song switch as OP 2 sucked.

The lyrics match so well with the theme of last episodes, Euphie and Lelouch meeting again and Lelouch's power going out of control later and the events that happened.. loved it

I feel like lyrics of this cover are about grieving after Euphemia. "This power I cannot control all alone It flies on its own" is simply Lelouch grieving after Geass-scape incident with his half-sister that lead to massacre of innocent Japanese people and to demise of Euphemia herself. Such a great cover and lyrics!

OMG Yes finally the most underrated Code Geass opening has finally got his deserved spotlight! It's amazing! Note: As of now there are only 4 japanese covers, 3 english covers, 2 russian covers and 3 spanish covers for this song, and i'm extremely greatful for all of those covers UPDATE: as of march 2021 only a couple new covers have been uploaded, i'll try to keep updating these every year for fun.

Because it was kinda "spoilery" on the original lyrics (the "aproaching encounter" is both the meeting (& eventual "duel") between the two protas at the end of season 1.

The fact that Code Geass is more than 10 years old blows my mind, and this great cover gives me nostalgia back when I watched this in grade school. I hope you keep doing awesome covers that sends me back at the time when I was a snot-nosed brat in front of our old CRT TV enjoying anime and not playing sports with the other kids :^)

Super epicness. * U * why is this giving a Coldplay clock vibe with a bit of anime videogame mixed in 😆 only suggestion would be a bit more bass boosting/beat impact to five the full epicness of this song, and be really chilling pike cold play clocks. Get it. I would love it to be blasting on the ride that is like aini rollacoaster that gets boost at a somewhat high speed blasting music in a circle like that was it rapsody 59 song is😉 and a tad more on the theme as well, music theme the voice is a bit too loud compared it that. Otherwise very well done.
