「Final Destination - Omega Mix」 from Super Smash Bros. N64

I've always enjoyed the original Final Destination theme a lot, and it stands out now because of how unique it sounds compared to the later Smash Bros. entries. It's not as dramatic and climactic of a piece as Brawl's version, but instead it gets you to focus on the crazy bass and irregular rhythms... I guess you could call it "Chaos House" genre. I'm convinced you couldn't perform this, it's just too wild.
For my re-arrangement I wanted to stay pretty faithful. I think you'll hear some Super Monkey Ball and Jet Set Radio influences in my mix.

2:02 That bass solo straight into Character Select is a sick as hell true combo This remix rules dude, Smash 64 music has such a special sound to it that I haven't gotten anywhere else. Even when Ando came back for Melee, he had a pretty different style from his N64 days. Great job tackling such an erratic song like this one 👏

Thanks!! I agree. There was a big stylistic change after the first Smash game. Sakai steals the show in Melee, and then Uematsu brings the drama to Brawl. After that it's been solid but I still hold the originals in a high regard. Shame they never brought back any of the HAL musicians past Brawl...

Since I have no where better to post this thought... here's a conspiracy, for all the "Master" fans out there... At least in Melee, I couldn't help but notice a parallel between Mario and Luigi, and Master Hand and Crazy Hand: One the standard, the absolute. Balanced, perfect perhaps... the other, Similar but, off. Unstable, chaotic. If this pattern continued later with Wario... well his definition is being opposite of Mario. We might have gotten something like Master Foot. Fitting of the grotesque nature. Brutish, unclean. Where would that put Waluigi? Similar AND Opposite? I can only imagine possibilities... a pirate's peg leg, prosthetic limb, perhaps a leg where the foot has been chopped off? Or you could go the edgy route and do something like Master Null... indicative of how Waluigi is supposedly only descriptive of what he ISN'T rather than what he is. I don't know, just food for thought

I think Waluigi-like master would be a fancy shoe, since the Hands are gloves. From what I've seen over the years Waluigi's mannerisms have become more refined compared to the other three while remaining unhinged, so it could act like a classic moustache-twirling villain. On a similar note, rather than have Wario's counter part be a foot, it could be a sock instead, with toe pockets to keep the warped reflection aspect.

You’re halfway there-it’s probably Galeem and Dharkon actually. They’re both eyeballs, Dharkon being obvious and Galeem showing it in some of his attack animations. What makes them them the evil counterparts is that while the Hands work together harmoniously despite them being opposites, the Eyeballs hate each other and can’t work together even when their lives depend on it
