Back with another NieR cover! This one had been half done for a couple of months and I kinda sat on it while Ruin was in progress lol. This is another 4 part SSAA arrangement, again doubled 6 times for a total of 24 envas. The latter parts of this arrangement is actually from the official NieR Replicant Choir Arrangement album (esp the key shift and the extended picardy thirds). This time the lines were a lot more linear than what I usually prefer...ie fewer intertwining lines like I did for Grandma. I think it works for this particular piece too, but enva style is to go ham on complex harmonies. For next time!🤪
As usual, those lower notes were...a struggle. None of those singular vocals will see the light of day, because they actually do sound pretty terrible individually. There was a lot of cheesing going on.
