I downloaded the flatpak repository a few weeks ago for Honkers Railway, but couldn’t find Sleepy today. I had to delete the repository, restart Discover, and then redownload it to get Sleepy to show up.

Thanks for this video. Performance seems pretty decent. You can really put it on Low, but I don't notice much of a performance difference from Medium if I'm being honest. I think render scale at 0.8 will likely have more of an impact than anything. Definitely don't touch anti aliasing unless you want a pixely mess. I'll have to mess around more to see if I can improve the performance.

mine failed when it want to download wine, any idea why? now it just kept loading but not doing anything. it says path is not mounted . im using intenal drive not external

I just downloaded it through the Heroic game launcher, and it worked to just find. I just can't get it to launch through Steam, so I'd play in desktop mode

Hi there people About the epic games version of ZZZ (idk about sleepy launcher) playing via an external controller seems to be kinda broken I am experiencing weird latency glitches or something Are there other people having this issue or found a fix?

@@galeraf301 Idk if this might be related but when I am playing tekken 8 with a Bluetooth controller it works just fine but when I use the same controller in elden ring it gets really bad and some games just dont want to work with the controller wired and don't recognize it but work with Bluetooth so idk its probably a bit of Linux and the Steam deck

Controller order is something some games are strict about. You should be able to change what controller counts as the Player 1 slot, etc within the quick access menu. Sometimes the Deck's controls are recognized as player 1 whereas the external controller is recognized as player 2. If you do change controller order I recommend restarting the game to see if the changes work. It's actually a built in feature in the QAM for edge case like this and Elden Ring.

The game works through desktop mode but not game mode: Failed to initialize player Failed to initialize graphics Make sure you have DriectX11 installed, have up to date drivers for your graphics card and have not disabled 3D acceleration in display settings InitializeEngineGraphics failed Any help with this problem?

Hmm that's the second time I've seen someone mention this image. And you're on a Steam Deck too I presume? I might have to ask the devs about this. But in the meantime though it may be worth getting in contact with the launcher devs by putting in an issue ticket on their GitHub.

I had the same error. I fixed this by going to the Game Launcher, entering the settings and scrolling down to components. Once there, select Wine-GE-Proton and choose the latest version. When you're done, change the Wine version on the upper part and re-enter game mode. Finally launch the game and it should be working.

@@ps3wizard45 where you put the url in you can change the prioritie of things showing up just click right of the URL that's showing up after you put it in on the triangle pointing up till its at the top then save the changes idk if it helps (because I did it before I searched) but it takes 10 seconds and is worth the try

Are you in desktop mode or in game mode? Either way you should be able to pull up your keyboard by pressing Steam+X

@@HiTechLoLife it only worked in game mode. the keyboard was there on desktop mode when i did the command but i couldnt see it because zzz was infront of it for some reason

@@jordaneil4709 yea I had that problem with more softwares in desktop mode probably because the game mode puts the keyboard automatically in front no matter what and you normally don't use such an keyboard on an linux device

I got up to 5:02 before getting a low disc space error on the ssd, where it says it would be downloading (requires 50.14 gb but I only have 20 gb). Shouldn't it be downloading to the micro sd card? Is there a way to redirect the download so I won't have to uninstall what's on the ssd?

I suspect it has to do with how the launcher actually downloads and decompresses the files. You could try moving the ENTIRE launcher itself onto your MicroSD card, but this is an edge case I've yet to actually hear about until now. That said, I definitely recommend keeping your wine prefix and dxvk cache on your SSD.

The HoyoPlay launcher does not support controller despite the fact that the game itself does. You can move your mouse cursor with your controller by holding your Xbox Guide/Home button and right analog stick and then click by holding Xbox/Guide/Home button and pressing R2 or Right Trigger.

Steam Link is a bit unusual with this and unfortunately I don't have the actual Steam Link hardware unit itself so I have no way of testing it myself. Sorry 😟

My problem is that everytime I download an unreal engine game off the epic game store it crashes my steam deck like 10 to 15 minutes in the game. I wish I could play Zenless Zone Zero!

If people get crashes at 7.4gb vram usage, you have to increase virtual memory to 16gb, there is a optimization script that fixes it, it’s called CryoUtilities

Managed to install the game and run it. The only problem I encounter is that the steam controller doesn't work and even I set it on controller settings non apart the B button works which whenever I press it, it reverts the settings back to keyboard and mouse. Been trying to play hoyo games on steam deck for over a year yet I always encounter problems. At this rate steam deck is utter garbage whenever playing games outside the steam OS.

I would double check the control options in Steam OS itself too. Sometimes steam input will default that to keyboard and mouse. After that you'll be able to change the settings in the options menu of the game. And the settings change will save in the game.

Don’t put low resolution use 720 native or the full screen 1440 and 1.0 resolution scale, fps cap at 40 or 45 fps

This worked for me 99% but when I'm in game, I cant for the life of me get it to switch to controller input. It will switch to controller and only one input before switching back to KBM. All that work to get blocked while the game is running right in front of me. I reset, reloaded, tried in Big Picture, Desktop, everything I could think of. I know the Deck is taking inputs because they work in every other environment and even let me use the trackpad for mouse nav

@HiTechLoLife I know. I even tried going in an changing the keyboard inputs to just map to the buttons I needed them to reflect and it wouldnt accept any remapping but "Enter" and "Esc". Something super weird going on, kind of you to reply my friend.

Also ngl, but there is a better tutorial out there that doesn't require install anything weird like flat or wine thing he shows on the video. Just run the install with steam booting with Proton and that's all you need.

The game supposedly has memory leaking issues for Linux OS, not just limited to Steam Deck. Even desktop rigs with maxxed out hardware will see their RAM and VRAM usage go up

@@ASmokingPoo Its up to you, personally, I havent experienced any crashes on my deck. RAM and VRAM always maxxes out. There are stutters in the city and the hub but combat is smooth. I play on low-med settings capped at 45 fps and everything still looks crisp and runs great in combat. Crashes might happen if you play too long but most Ive played was 2 hours and it never crashed during that point

It's always a possibility as you are using a third party launcher basically, but I haven't been banned using any of the other launchers (like their Genshin or Honkai launchers) from An Anime Team so far.

The game itself after the install process isn't that big, but yeah it does require 100GB+ to do the install process which is kinda crazy to me.
