This and Mushoku Tensi shows just how great of a sound director Aketagawa Jin is. Literally the only guy who can make a soundtrack for any genre of anime/games and have every piece be iconic.

You know the anime is good when you look for the soundtrack because this one is great too! Without a doubt, part of the success of The Eminence in Shadow comes from its OST. I've been reading the novel while listening and the scenes have a totally different impact with the soundtrack playing. Especially because the novel is darker and has much less comedy than its adaptations.

I find it hilarious that such a serious and epic soundtrack is... all for an isekai show about a Chunibyo roleplayer and the cheesiest of main characters. And what's even more hilarious? That guy is wrapped by a serious plot, characters, and setting that all *deserves* the soundtrack. It's why people love the show over typical iskai trash.

Cid went solo vs army veterans with 14 years old, unless you are the most jacked and dangerous 14 year old on this planet and already got the license to kill freely on 3 continents by now you cant compare to cid. He wouldve done anything and never hesitated to push further, thats what cid is defined by. One of the protagonists who earned every little drop of power they have.

Aww, WHY couldn’t the series be 100% like this picture shows in the Anime series. That Cid wasn’t acting like a Mob Character, and was instead just acting weak as ”Cid Kagenou” & was a ”true” leader of Shadow Garden, and as Shadow, he would really be like how his organization sees him as. That he really knew that Shadow Garden & the Cult of Diablos really ”existed”. And he was leading them like his organization thinks he truly does. Me: Why couldn’t it be like this instead, then it would of truly been 1000 of 100% the coolest, greatest & best Anime of all time 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
