Don't let this video distract you from the fact that cookiezis Fredoom Dive 800pp is now the first 900pp after the rework and was set 727 days before the now second 900pp play
I don't know where you got these first numbers because ppv1 calculations were never public, the values of plays were never released. Every single play before 3:01 in the video I think you confused with the tp value, which was a third party ranking system which turned into ppv2, nothing to do with ppv1 at all. rrtyui did not care for pp, so saying that he played the system is kind of strange you showed the wrong hoshizora here 3:25, the map he did it on isn't the full version and this play was set two years after the right one wrong play shown here, this is his fixed score with HD two years after the original play the cookiezi blue zenith section is completely out of order, as far as I could find he actually didn't go for any HR runs until he had a nomod FC, the nomod FC was #1, and there were already 3 other FCs from Reimu, Rafis, and cptnXn by the time he was doing this even though you say there were none *727 was on Jan 2 not Jan 1 whoops 14:08 Qualified maps at this point did not give pp. This is not a pp record. apart from those things the player stories seem good : )
dont know how u define talented and something like "best player" would be pretty subjective so everyone views that differently, but i would agree those two are the most balanced and well rounded players in the history of the game if it comes to skill. they were and maybe are the most dominant players weve seen so far (shige obviously while he was playing and it seems that vaxei took a break aswell) and i dont think its even close. next in line would be hvick225 in my opinion but maybe someone else views this differently some players will maybe have one or two skills were they outshine both, like merami with raw speed and mrekk now with dt and 3mod plays on longer maps but all around skill? i dont think so
@@veporian8578ah u right except i think whitecat at his prime was the most DOMINANT (dominant specifically) player to play the game, climbing to #1 in a week before going on to widen the pp gap between #1 and #2 to such an insane difference. att whitecat was untouched in his strongest categories. he got criticized for being a DT one trick, then stole idke's signature spaced stream map which he was unable to FC for so long. then he got criticized for lack of stamina and being unable to stream anything above 200, then FCed yomi yori kurushimi and got the first S rank on dokito's yomi yori. whitecat has his weaknesses but in his strongest categories he was and maybe still is so far ahead of everyone that i think he's the most dominant player of all time, even if he's not the best
Dude your video improvement from the 1k and RoR vids is insane, this editing is wayyyyy better than anything you've ever put out, keep it up, your well on your way to becoming a youtube editing champion
I genuinely prefer the old[ish] type of records that were more based around the player's skill and dedication rather than the map being played. (not to say 1k pp plays don't require skill, they obviously do but the way to get there is very different.)
ngl this editing/visual effects is so much better than your first video on your channel (not saying that your first video wasn't high editing already) but hot damn is this impressive and the music for each new player really puts a chill down my spine. Nice man
i remember waking up in the middle of the night randomly, just to turn into cookiezi streaming, while seeing his chat go at lightning speed and him beeing at 1.7k combo on fdfd.
Just to put into perspective how unlucky I am. In August of 2016 is when I made my osu! account and submitted my first plays (mania though), I had already heard of Cookiezi, and was well aware of him doing streams here and there, however one issue. I didn't think about it more than once, and never checked out his stream. Only to miss witnessing FDFD HDHR a month later. I'm still mad at myself for not checking out his streams, I literally could've witnessed the greatest play of all time.
this needs to be added to a playlist where every year an update is made so that new players in 2030 can binge watch it all just like i binge watched the last 10 years of farming in this video
